    Harrowing but a must see

by Tony on 5/21/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

The historical perspective (cause) is very well explained. Listening to the survivors’ testimonies was exceptionally moving. Whoever you are, you need to remind yourself of the horror and evil of the holocaust.

    Powerful

by Liv on 5/21/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

Something everyone should experience while they have the chance!! So powerful! Very well thought out and laid out so it was easy to follow. The listening devices are a perfect way for people to be respectful of one another, move through it at their own pace and hear all that they need to hear.

    Fantastic exhibit!

by Jaya on 5/21/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

Superb multi-media exhibit, with text, audio, video, and material objects. Very moving and informative. Very well designed; in fact, one of the best-designed exhibits I've ever been to.

    A must see

by MichelleMac on 5/20/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

Words can’t express the range of emotions you feel when going through this exhibit. It takes you through the history pre Auschwitz, the atrocities that was Auschwitz and the end of that era. It was an extremely well laid out tour through that dark period of time. It was two and a half hours for me to get through this exhibit. A quote by an Auschwitz survivor at the beginning of the exhibit really stayed with me - “It happened, therefore it can happen again” This exhibit is definitely a must see.

    Incredible

by Rainy on 5/20/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

What I knew was only a fragment of what I saw and learned at the exhibit. It was just unimaginable what all those victims went through. All I kept thinking was, How and more importantly “why”. The last video I watched before exiting was a film with some of the survivors own words of that horrific time in history and what stood out the most was almost all had said “hate has no place in life”. Who cares what anyone’s beliefs are or religion or the color of their skin. We are all one and should recognize that and leave hate behind. Amazing exhibit that left you speechless. So glad I went.

    Big disappointment

by Neal on 5/20/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

My wife & I were very disappointed. The entire experience felt disjointed. The hand held speakers merely repeated dialog on the screen making it difficult to listen & read at the same time. The artifacts left very little emotional impact. There were too many drawings again not evoking much emotion. There were lots of interesting paintings but no information about the artist - who was he? when were the paintings done? Many of the survivors in the videos i had already seen in other documentaries. You missed an opportunity to create an impactful exhibit but failed badly.

    An Extraordinary Must-See Exhibit

by Sharon PK on 5/19/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

I can't begin to explain how incredible this Exhibit is. I had read a great deal about the Holocaust and had visited Holocaust Memorial Museums, including Yad Vashem, but I had never been as moved as I was at this Exhibit. I spent 3 hours at it, looking at photos, reading commentaries, listening to Holocaust survivors, and watching videos, and I plan to go back to spend more time at it. I can't imagine how anyone could visit this Exhibit and not learn many new things and not feel very, very moved by it.

The most important exhibit I have seen.

by Bette on 5/19/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

This was my second time visiting this exhibition. The first time, after 3 and a half hours, I was only halfway through. It was 6:30 pm and the exhibition closed at six. I returned several weeks later to complete viewing. I brought a friend. I have studied and read so much about the holocaust, but I learned so much more by attending the exhibition. The accompanying book is excellent.

    A MUST SEE

by peg on 5/18/24The Castle at Park Plaza - Boston

This is something that MUST be seen by many it is sobering and sad to see. We must never forget what was done to 6 million Jews BUT also so many disabled, "slow"and the Roma's or Gypsy's. as Hitlers need for control. Please take the time.

Outstanding! Exceeded my expectations by a huge margin. Though we would be in and out 1 hour- reality we couldn’t leave. Spend 3 hours easy
