About

Marilyn Manson on Tour

Although a shock-rock persona made Marilyn Manson a target of criticism in the '90s and early '00s, the hard rocker today is a highly respected, Alice Cooper–like figure. That comparison holds for Manson's flamboyant, aggressive music — combining influences from industrial, metal and glam — and flashy live shows, which boast ornate costumes, dizzying light shows and impressive staging. Appropriately enough, Manson toured with Cooper in 2013 on the Masters of Madness Tour, although that trek was simply one of his many well-suited live gig pairings. Back in the '90s, he opened for fellow metallic electro-rockers Nine Inch Nails, while in 2018 and 2019, Manson toured with Rob Zombie on a trek dubbed Twins of Evil. Around his own tours, Manson has also performed at major rock festivals such as Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Download and Rock on the Range.

Marilyn Manson in Concert

Born Brian Warner, Marilyn Manson grew up in Canton, Ohio, and later moved to Florida and studied journalism in college. Life had other plans, though. The aspiring musician formed the group Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids in 1989. In 1993, the group signed a record deal with the Trent Reznor–owned Nothing Records, which released the landmark 1994 debut album, Portrait of an American Family. In the years after, Manson was nominated for four Grammy Awards on the way to releasing 1996's alternative-music totem Antichrist Superstar and releasing singles that dabbled in glam ("The Beautiful People"), sludgy grunge ("The Dope Show," a cover of Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams") and sizzling industrial ("mOBSCENE"). Manson also expanded his empire beyond music, dabbling in art, acting (including on Sons of Anarchy) and soundtrack work. In fact, albums such as 2015's The Pale Emperor even have a cinematic bent, courtesy of a collaboration with noted film composer Tyler Bates.

  • Always worth it

by Babyfirefly on 4/6/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Marilyn Manson never disappoints! I've been to over 20 of his concerts and have had 2 meet and greets. He has an amazing voice, mind blowing music and is very intelligent and down to earth. Everyone needs to experience a Manson concert at least once!

  • Exceeded My Expectations

by CR on 2/27/25Grey Eagle Event Centre - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

An absolutely amazing show. Blew my expectations out of the water. Would love to see him again - especially in a different venue with staggered seating allowing you see more, as it is hard to see during a standing room only GA show.

  • INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

    by CB123!! on 2/5/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Want to the Hershey show and left when his set was done. He was amazing. Voice sounds better than ever. Other shows he was headliner had more songs etc…luckily he added more shows for 2025 as a headliner. I already got tickets to 2 of them just waiting for meet n greets. They sell out fast and I’ve never seen them so I don’t know what to look for!!!!

  • General question

by Maverick on 1/26/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Anyone tell me why May 4 at the Fillmore in Detroit, MI; General Admission isn’t available yet? Every other venue before and after for this tour has general admission being sold. Like to go and see him finally.

  • Mechanical Antichrist from Holywood returns!

by Wormboy on 12/24/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The great showman Marilyn Manson has comeback to the stage after a long hiatus. In a true return to form reminiscent of his greatest of eras. His vocal performance & command of the audience were top notch, felt like a time warp back to 1996.Love the current band lineup, can’t say enough good about this show! As a fan of Mr.Manson for 30 years wholeheartedly pleased that I attended this concert. His talent was truly missed in the modern music scene.Look forward to more MM tours/albums in the future🤘🏻

Traveling from New Jersey City to Texas to experience seeing my favorite artist was simply amazing. Great performance of my favorite new and classic songs, the audience was giving off great energy along with the new lineup of the band which is phenomenal. I would definitely go again. Great venue with the sound system and all the staff member was very organized.

  • Back and Killing It!

by Jay Ringo on 9/30/24Rating: 5 out of 5

So hyped my favorite rocker is back in rare form with all the energy of the 90s Manson we all fell in love with. Great to see his health improved. Fabulous ensemble with Gil hammering the drums, Piggy on bass from Zombie's crew, and Reba from Code Orange is both fun to watch and listen. Can't wait for the next tour!!

He is a headliner!!!jeesch!! DUH! 🙄
