I had a chance to see my favorite Singers and Bands together under one Roof. Atlantic Starr was awesome, as well as the openers which consisted of Mrs. Evelyn Champaign King and S.O.S band from Atlanta. The Music Hall Center For the Performing Arts, is a great place for concerts.
Evelyn King was fantastic! SOS band was so so. The band it self was good, but the singing quality of the two new band members were bland with no showmanship. Atlantic Star gave a poor performance, because the mic quality was trash which caused a lack luster performance.
Atlantic Starr was incredible but so sad about technical issue of microphone
Love the Group but the Venue was terrible. Mics didn’t work and sound was bad.
Other than a minor microphone issue Atlantic Starr was AWESOME but when they performed SEND FOR ME it was DROP THE MIKE LEVEL-Everlyn Champagne King was FIRE - GREAT GREAT SHOW everyone was up dancing with Evelyn -please bring them back soon.
It took 35 minutes For the band to decide to share a microphone. The microphone never did work. A lot of their music is duets. The first three or four songs were muted, that was really disappointing. They still sound really, really good. Not sure if it was the band or the venue that was supplying the microphone?
Good Performances. HORRIBLE AUDIO. I enjoyed ole Skool grooves, with Live Bands, the sound has to be on point, The Music Hall wasn't 😐
Atlantic Star is a GREAT BAND with GREAT Albums and I have them all. The audio crew FAILED them MISERABLY. The microphones wasn’t working at the beginning of their set but being the EXPERIENCED VETERANS that they are they persevered.Im a HUGE Fan of ATLANTIC STAR.
Great concert until the mics for Atlantic Starr was not working for the first 3 songs. You could refund some of my money back.
All three performances were great! However, the sound people need to be fired! They could not get the mic's right for Atlantic Star. They didn't get them corrected until their last two songs! Very disappointing!
