Rock N Roll is fun, or at least that's the idea. That they are able to get back to that core concept is one of the great joys of Black Veil Brides, and one that fans latched onto as the Andy Biersack lead Hollywood quintet emerged as D.I.Y. phenomenon in 2009. Yes, the Brides Ð who along with Biersack includes Ash Purdy, Jinxx, Jake Pitts, and Christian Coma-- have a look that is a Goth take on the over-the-top glam of late '70's Kiss and mid '80's Sunset Strip, but their message is far from ironic. From their debut with 2010's We Stich Wounds to 2013's sprawling concept album The Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, the band has always shown a deep emotionalism to go along the riff-heavy, fist pounding excitement.
And then there are those concerts: ticket buyers can expect nothing less than complete commitment from the Brides. Indeed, Biersack famously broke three ribs on stage and at another tour date, then smashed his nose falling off a drum riser at another. Of course neither injury even slowed him, much less stopped the show. It that kind of damn-it-all resolve that got Biersack named Revolver's Greatest Living Rock Star in 2012, and one of the many qualities that make the Black Veil Brides a band able to restore you faith in rock, in all it's fun, fury and fire.
The concert was incredible. The seats were good and we felt comfortable.
The show was amazing! All of the openers were great and Black Veil Brides put on a great show. It really felt like the wanted to be there with us ❤️
As they have always done for years, Black Veil Brides puts on a fantastic show that will leave you wanting to repeat the day over and over again until you see them either on the same tour or on their next tour. Like any band, you never know what will happen on a given show day whether it's a slight setlist change or just a random a surprise, and honestly they make sure to have that change be as smooth as possible without it disrupting their whole schedule. I love how each member gives their all on stage, and how they do what they can to incorporate specific things related to the members; such as CC getting a drum solo or Jinxx getting a piano or violin moment within the set lists/songs. I think that makes it special when you see them since you really never know what you are going to get, but it will be something that will make you extremely happy and want to see them again and again.
Venue or promoter had ticket resale turned off for this event. Life happened and myself and party were unavailable to make it to the show. Unfortunately, the reason for missing the show did not qualify for the purchased ticket insurance. Ticket resale would have been a great option for recouping at least some of the money spent on the unused tickets. Disappointing.
I've been following black Vail brides since the beginning and I love everything about them and what they stand for. I also went to the concert the other night to see the other three bands, especially dark Divine. I've only been listening to them for about 2 years now but I love their music and the other two bands were awesome and it was the first time hearing of them so that was nice
Thanks BVB Ghostkid and dark divine, for the crazy experience
I've been waiting over a decade to be able to see BVB live. Between finances and scheduling, it just hasn't been able to happen. Last night, however, I was finally able to see them live at Sonic Temple and let me tell you, the wait was well worth it. Aside from a Karen that got angry when me & my friends moved (jumped, moved side to side, head banged) and her daughter got bumped once or twice, the set was absolutely magical imo.
I had such a blast. the whole show was awesome and jinxx/ cc looked great.
After listening to BVB for so long, I have finally gotten the chance to see them perform live. And may I say, they did not disappoint! It was such a surreal moment to hear the songs I have grown up listening to, songs that have helped me through some tough times. And it was such a pleasure to hear the newer songs that I have come to love. And a huge shout out to Creeper, Ghostkid, and Dark Divine! I haven’t heard of them before this tour, but I had gone ahead and heard their music. They have some amazing songs. Their setlist made up a good majority of songs I had come to love, and will continue to listen. They were very attentive of the audience and made sure the crowd was doing well. And after that night, I think I have become a fan of Dark Divine’s. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for all these groups! I will definitely be on the lookout for another Black Veil Brides concert, as well as Dark Divine
The reference to the classic Sweeney Todd at the opening of the show was great considering the new single. Loved Andy interacting with the crowd and the band had so much energy. Great opening acts too!!
