About
As a dynamic vocalist, deft multi-instrumentalist, and dexterous producer, Blake
Rose not only dives in and out of different sonic wavelengths, but he also attunes
to experiences and emotions. Against a backdrop of glistening alternative
atmospheres, hummable pop choruses, and immersive electric guitar-laden
soundscapes, he lyrically places himself inside of identifiable moments and
unfiltered conversations unlocked by a keen sense of empathy. You�ll practically
hear his memories and anecdotes unfold in real-time as he ponders the nature of
nostalgia, infatuation, struggle, mental health, and family. Emerging in 2018 out
of Perth, Australia, he initially gained traction with �Hotel Room,� �Best of Me,�
and �Lady� before 2020�s �Gone� exploded to the tune of 65 million Spotify
streams. �Lost� picked up over 100 million streams as well. Meanwhile, his A
World Gone By EP arrived to widespread critical acclaim. FLOOD hailed it as �a
body of work that�s easy to get lost in,� while V Man dubbed him an �Artist to
Watch� and FLAUNT attested, �Blake Rose is your new favorite artist.� He notably
sold-out headline gigs on both coasts of North America in addition to sharing
stages with Noah Kahan, Ashe, Boys Like Girls, girl in red, Dean Lewis, Mimi Webb,
Lauren Spencer Smith and many others on the road. In 2023, the Australia-born
and Los Angeles-based artist chronicled a series of realizations and revelations on
his second EP, You�ll Get It When You�re Older, making his US Television debut,
performing the song �Dizzy� from the EP on CBS� The Late Late Show with James
Corden. Looking ahead to 2024, Blake is ready for his next chapter, starting with
the release of his third EP, LOVE / ATTACHMENT vol. 1, due out March 2024

Lead single, �Suddenly Okay,� fits right into the singer-songwriters existing canon

He knows his audience so well that even the preshow playlist is spot on. I have to say my favorite part of the show was when he walked into the middle of the audience, hopped up on a little stool, and playing his song Gone acoustically. This was my third time seeing him live; I am so glad he finally was a headliner. There is no doubt that I will be at his next tour!

by KP on 5/3/24Bowery Ballroom - New YorkVenue was great, just wish concert had started at advertised time which was 7pm. Opener was at 8 and Blake came out at 9pm. Once you are in you can't leave the venue.

by Rex on 10/19/22I've seen so many of my favorite artists perform live, and Blake Rose is easily one of the greatest (and the only one I've ever thought to write a review for). He's engaging, has great vocal talent, and he commands the stage with an incredibly inflectious energy. Oh, and he has a smile that kills! It was easy to see how much fun he was having performing for us and talking with us and I will easily buy tickets for his next local show. Los Angeles, 10/18/22
