    Musicians great, sound BAD

by Serenole on 11/8/23Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

My second concert here. The sound crew had it TOO LOUD for this venue. It was built with great acoustics and they ruined it with #10 volume! Even Ronnie McD complained of the feedback and humming which says it is TOO LOUD. Everyone around us had their fingers in their ears. Next issue was too much talking by emmcees and putting show behind 1.5 hours! Do your presentations at the opening ceremony and let the musicians PLAY without the monotonous, whiny voice of that Emmcee. Other than that, The Bellamy Bros and Ronnie McDowell were great! The others were not bad, but all that talking was NOT necessary. People pay to hear music. Not talking.

It was a great show, but to long!

by hg on 11/8/23Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

We had a great time and enjoyed the performers. The show is just too long, too much talking. Ronnie McDowell stayed on the way too long. Other than that, it was a great show.

    A Vet's View

by DSS on 11/8/23Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

This Concert was put together to honor the veterans. Many of the artist played for free and came on first before the Bellamy Brothers. When they came out, not a smile or any reaction. I have always loved their music but they appeared like they didn't want to be there and had a very dull performance. We left before thet finished the set.

Really enjoyed to variety of music

by Dee on 11/8/23Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

The atmosphere was great, the variety of music was great, the food trucks outside were ok prices to high and couldn’t return inside with the food (made no sense since employees or volunteers brought food inside) the concession inside prices were terrible, the food was cold and not a very good selection Maybe change up or add a few simple food choices and rake people over the coals in prices

    Great show!

by Cynthia Arender Machen on 7/26/22Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium - Shreveport

It was a great show with a great line up of stars. Even though some acts were relatively unknown to me, they ALL put on a great show! The guys who seemed to be handling the scheduling of each artist kept the show on schedule just like the program was written. The band was so awesome! Loved Moe & Joe, Tony Jackson and Gene Watson! Do it again soon please!
