About
Los Acosta formed in 1979 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. After multiple lineup and name changes early on, the band, consisting of brothers Ricardo Acosta, Ernesto Acosta, Sergio Acosta and Carlos Acosta, adopted the name Los Acosta in 1986. They've recorded numerous hit songs and albums over the years. "Cruel Engaño" charted on the Spotify Top 200 in multiple countries, hitting No. 1 in Mexico and "Tú no Lo Sabes" peaked in the top 10 on Spotify in Mexico. Album highlights include 2005's "Amor Y Delirio" and 2006's "Siluetas" and 2016's "XXV," though in total the group has released 29 studio records. The band has been nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards, in 2006 and 2007.
