Wonderful performance by the Pops, guest soloists, and the corale ensemble. Appealing variety of Broadway tunes, not just the usual selections. An overall fun experience.
This was a lovely evening of Joni Mitchell’s music, with a few other pieces for good measure. The singer, local talent, had a lovely voice with a wide range, doing a great job with the tribute songs. My only criticism was the last piece. It was badly over-arranged, and detracted from the singer and her rendition of an iconic Mitchell song.
Terrific concert. Heather Rice sang some Joni Mitchell songs, one song stood out to me especially was Woodstock. Really sounded great with her 4 member band behind her. Add to that Nick Price and the Charleston Pops Orchestra in between playing some fabulous versions of Beatles early hits. Terrific evening. Loved it. Heather Rice has a few original songs that sounded bluesy to me and truly on the money. Loved her.
The Pops featuring Heather Rice made for an unforgettable night! Her vocal range with the expertise of the musicians made for a magical experience! I loved it!
I throughly enjoyed the Holiday Pops concert. It was very well done, entertaining, and even worshipful. I loved how they included singers, dancers, actors, and the chorus to the performance. Including the audience in singing Christmas carols was delightful!
Such talented performers , and a great mix of holiday favorites
Great performances of Super Hero theme songs. The director was engaging and the orchestra was very good. The theater is nice. We sat in row G, close to the middle, so very good seats.
Took my 91 year old M-I-L. She thoroughly enjoyed herself as did my husband and myself!
Absolutely fantastic performance at the North Charleston Pops concert. Loved every minute of it!
