    Patrick Cassidy was amazing!

by Maatje on 7/1/18Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

As a longtime David Cassidy fan, I specially came over from the Netherlands with a friend, to see Patrick Cassidy. He did a great show about the whole Cassidy family and a wonderful tribute to his older half brother David. I loved the show and Patrick is very talented and looks a lot like his dad, Jack Cassidy. Almost the whole Cassidy family was there to see Patrick and you could all meet them during the break and before and after the show in the lobby. I could feel the love between them and David is very missed.

    Cassidy Family Tree

by Torrdando on 6/26/18Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

Show started about 15 min late as half the audience had not arrived yet. Patrick's show was interesting -- his family, including his mother Shirley Jones, and one of his brothers, Ryan, were in the audience, as was actor Danny Bonaduce. He did a nice tribute to his brother David. He did not get very deep in his relationships with his family members but touched on each one of them. He did not talk about the bad or negative things in his family. He sang off key at times but was enthused about his show. His two sons came out and sang with him at the very end -- which was nice. Photography was not allowed.

A Charming Show about an Iconic Family

by KatInLA on 6/25/18Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

Patrick Cassidy's "Growing Up Cassidy" is a lovely and charming show about an iconic family. He is a formidable talent and delighted the audience with wonderful stories and beautiful songs. It was also extremely touching that he did a tribute portion to his half-brother David who passed away last year. Especially notable were the last couple of songs that he did with his sons, Jack and Cole. Jack was a "The Voice" finalist who has quite an amazing voice -- I would love to see more of him in the future, as well! All in all, I very much enjoyed this show.
