Listening to Rainn tell his stories was the greatest!
The show went exactly how it was advertised which was which would have been great as is. What made it perfect was Rainn Wilson himself. He just seemed like he was really into the show himself and wanted to be there. How he interacted with the fans that participated in the costume contest was awesome as well. Again he was "into"it. He truly seemed appreciative of all the fans that were there. Another thing that might be over looked was he stayed on topic. Sure he promoted his book Soul Boom which is no problem at all but it was just a side bar during the interview questions. Also on his twitter he seems to share his political views frequently or at least his views on climate change which is his right but having different opinions then him I was worried I was going to get "preached"to but Rainn kept the show on topic which in my opinion was very professional. I did the meet and greet experience which was awesome as well. I'll have a picture with "Dwight Schrute"one of the top 10 TV comedy characters of all time forever. It was great show all around. Fully recommend this show to anyone has the opportunity to go.
Rainn was very funny and we laughed a lot. He answered questions from the moderator and from the audience through the moderator. Wish the Office episode we watched was shorter so we could have heard more from Rainn.
It was cool to see him in person, but weird to sit and watch 40 minutes of an episode… If anything, I think he should’ve been commentating and watching it with us. He was only on this stage for about an hour.
We really enjoyed Rainn Wilson. He was honest, funny, informative and made everyone feel comfortable. His back story was both inspiring, and interesting. It was a great and enjoyable evening.
We watched a random hour long episode of THE OFFICE. Then Rain spoke about how he got the roll and a little about his background and judged a strange costume contest. I thought he would break down episodes and give some behind the scenes of certain episodes. He did none of that. Just answered some random audience questions. I was disappointed
Rainn was funny and everything that I expected. They screened a super hilarious episode of the Office prior to the Live Q&A. The costume contest was awesome. Definitely a great night out!
My husband and I had a great time! It was a fun show and it was a nice experience.
By the time the episode screening was over, I was looking to curl up on my couch with a blanket. I was absolutely not in the mental place at that moment for people to come on stage with loud microphones and talk to me. It colored the rest of the show for me. Also didn’t help that I was super into the office a few years ago but not currently watching. I’ve listened to the podcasts and read the interviews and such and so I already was aware of a lot of the info that was imparted during the q&a. I didn’t quite get why there was just a plain old episode shown on a screen with no one (like Rainn) interjecting with interesting tidbits during the viewing. If that had been the case it would have made the episode a lot more interesting. As it was, I could have stayed home for that first half hour or 45 mins or however long it was and watched the episode on my own. TLDR: scrap or adapt the viewing, it detracts from the reason people paid $$ to be there.
It was horrible. Listening to Rainn talk was interesting except he did seem a little pretentious. But it was more like I paid $50+ to watch an episode of the office I could have watched for free at home
