    Uriah Heep rocked…and Saxon too!

by Heepsax on 5/11/24Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Uriah Heep were rocking with old and new songs…every band member is excellent musician and band sounds so tight. I really enjoyed watching and listening Uriah Heep. Saxon has also delivered their metal stuff with confidence. New guitar player is more metal then their original guitar player, bit fits well in band. Two great bands in beautiful venue. Amazing evening!

    The Mighty Saxon Rocked!!

by Rebel Rebel on 5/10/24Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Been wanting to see one of my all time favorite metal bands of all time, Saxon for years now! Been a huge fan since the beginning. And they were phenomenal! This band just gets better with age. I was literally like a teenager again at the show. Fantastic! To say the least. And Uriah Heep was excellent too!! For me it was a show of a lifetime because I've waited so long to see these guys. Looking forward to hopefully seeing them again next year at Penns Peak. Both of these bands deliver 110%! Don't hesitate to go see them

    Saxon & Uriah Heep

by Little Drummer Girl on 5/9/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - Boston

Both bands were really awesome. Saxon's guitars frowned out the vocals in some spots, making it hard to hear what he was singing. But other than that both bands sounded great, had great energy, & interacted with the crowd!!! I enjoyed the show immensely!!! Would be nice to have seats so I could sit & rest my aching legs once in awhile. And at the end, I almost got crushed by people starting a mosh pit in the front, so I had to rush off to the side. ( It only 5 feet tall, but I like to be tight up front so I can see, & try to snag a drum stick!!! I hope you come back to Boston, or the surrounding area soon!!! ROCK ON!!! 🤘🤘🤘

    ENERGETIC ROCKIN TIME

by JOHN K. on 5/8/24Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

This was my 3rd time seeing Uriah Heep and they did not disappoint. Their sound was tight and they were rockin. They put on an excellent show with 11 songs including 4 songs from their very recent newest album and included classics such as RAINBOW DEMON, GYPSY, EASY LIVIN, LOOK AT YOURSELF, SWEET LORRAINE, JULY MORNIN, & FREE 'N' EASY. Adam Wakeman, the son of the great Rick Wakeman of YES fame, was their keyboardist. The whole band just killed it that night - excellent set and full warm sound. Mick Box and Bernie Shaw have not lost it. SAXON was a more METAL beast and this was my 2nd time seeing them. They also put on an energetic killer show with DIAMOND HEAD leader & guitarist Brian Tatler as their newest member. Their sound was a bit more raw and abrasive as compared to Uriah Heep's sound but you can still feel their genuine love for rockin in front of a live audience. They played 4 songs from their newest album and included classics such MOTORCYCLE MAN, 747 STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT, WHEELS OF STEEL, DALLAS 1 PM, HEAVY METAL THUNDER, PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT, NEVER SURRENDER, DENIM & LEATHER, THIS TOWN ROCKS, POWER & THE GLORY, CRUSADER, RIDE LIKE THE WIND & SACRIFICE. If you were not there at Penn's Peak that night, that is a shame. Biff and the boys still have it.

    Awesome show!!

by Heavyled on 5/8/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - Boston

I've been a Saxon fan since 1979! I'm blown away by their latest album, Carpe Diem... they still rock like there's no tomorrow! This was my first time seeing them live and they did not disappoint. So many hits... and the newer songs are also very strong. If you like/love Saxon, do go see them live, they will not disappoint you. Biff is the nicest guy on stage and the band kicks ass!!

Saxon & Uriah Heep at Penns Peak

by Ronnie V on 5/7/24Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Show was 5/3 at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA. Uriah Heep opened and Saxon headlined. First time seeing either band. Great show from both bands, but I was there to hear the heavy metal thunder of the mighty Saxon and they did not disappoint. Two or three songs from the new album and all the classics I wanted to hear with the exception of “The Eagle has Landed”. First time at Penn’s Peak as well. Great venue without a bad seat in the house surrounded by a stunning view.

Both bands put on a great show. Saxon was absolutely awesome. Been a fan since 1984. The venue was great also. I have been there before. It is a great place to see live music.
