Led by earnest banjo-strumming songwriter Ed Isola, The 502s are a band of brothers whose sound has received critical acclaim as celebratory, wholesome, and utterly life affirming.
For their sophomore full length they've expanded their sonic range with a veritable Folk orchestra, comprising a colorful menagerie of instruments from strings and xylophones to brass, melodicas, whistles and bells, all wrapped in neighborhood-block-party-sized singalongs with vaulted vocal harmonies worthy of any great concert hall.
This band brings the energy. It's impossible to not find them to be contagiously endearing and happy. They are the most fun band that I've ever seen in concert.
The 502s will be selling out stadiums with the way they are performing. It was an incredible show focused on uplifting the crowd. The 502s are a band who cares about their people, and who are focused on bringing smiles to everybody's faces. You will LOVE seeing them!!
Even if you don't know the songs, the 502s provided an energetic, fun and lite time! Great for all ages and stages of life. I enjoyed watching their energy on the stage. They were having fun and it echoed into the audience. How can I describe their music? Fun times hanging with good friends, cracking up, being silly and enjoying the present. It got me bouncing in the aisle. The band members came across as personable. It was a party that no one wanted to leave. Their "encores"were not like other bands where you are made to wait. This group went backstage probably to catch their breaths but always had at least one band member on stage. They even came into the audience. Their opening band was just as fun. Both groups mentioned how grateful they were to be playing at the House of Blues - Boston and it seemed sincere. If you are looking for a night to relax, be lite, and forget the outside world for the moment, definitely see the 502s!
Great concert. Great venue. Awesome experience 10/10 recommend
502’s didn’t disappoint. They sound like they would be a great live band and they delivered a high energy show at Irving Plaza. I’ll see them again next time they are in town.
Only knew a few of their songs before coming, but their vibe on stage is amazing. Had an amazing time, and you can tell they're really enjoying themselves.
There is no way you can go to this concert and not leave happier and lighter than when you came in. The band has so much fun and includes the audience in this fun. I have never regretted going to a 502s Concert!
This was the best show I've ever been to. Incredible energy, you could tell the band was having a blast. Even played a song from the middle of the crowd. Must see them again soon!
Such an amazing concert! The 502s truly put on a fabulous performance and give off the best vibes! I would 110% see them again.
Absolutely loved the concert experience. As soon as they stepped on stage the good vibes were radiating!!
