    Great show

by CNH on 5/6/24The Masonic - San Francisco

Great show. Couldn’t see 80% of it because of the way the floor seats were set up. The view was obstructed unless we got a lucky break and someone moved their head. Show was amazing otherwise. For $250 per ticket it would have been cool to see the stage.

    Tim phoned it in

by Mario on 5/6/24The Masonic - San Francisco

I was expecting a live sketch comedy show. Unfortunately, it was mostly Tim and his friends sitting on a couch introducing clips to the show I've seen a million times. I feel like a sucker.

    Very very funny

by MS on 5/5/24Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San Diego

Tim Robinson’s ITYSL show was amazing and once in a lifetime type of comedy. I love ITYSL and I’m happy that we got to see comedic conversations and never before seen footage of the show.

I Think Tim Should Talk More

by Ben on 5/5/24Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU - San Diego

Tim is hilarious and sweet. i wish he would have been more vocal, but he was too generous: his guests - especially the alleged local improv comic - had too much airtime. the musician was a good touch but i did not think he was as funny as Tim + Sam + Patti either. i really enjoyed my night, but did not have a good experience entering. i paid $26 to park, and then $14 for a drink.

The skits were hillarious and I hope they make it into the next season.

    Disappointing

by Rach on 5/4/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

We flew from Winnipeg to Phoenix just for the show and were left completely disappointed. We are huge fans of Tim Robinson, ITYSL and the Detroiters, I was so excited and wanted more than anything to like the live show but that was not possible from what was being presented to us. The 5 or 6 unseen sketches were the best part but that was a such a short portion of the show, they were hard to hear in this type of venue and I was expecting some conversation around how sketches were thought of, why these ones didn’t make the cut, etc.. but all that was said was a ‘Yes’ or ‘no’ on if they were good and if they should have been in the show - nothing else. The rest of the show was dominated by the moderator (brooks), the music director (Whitmer) and the bit from the “new to comedy/improv” person (Brendan Jennings). I found the roles of these three were not only not needed, but just so unfunny… I tried and wanted so badly to laugh but nothing was working. It felt like a podcast that I would have shut off if I hadn’t of spent so much money on the whole thing. I’m not someone who ever writes reviews and still really love itysl but seeing this kind of tainted it. I bought merch before the show for myself and others back home and now I feel weird about buying it and thinking of wearing it. When you think of an ITSYL live show you would expect to hear from Tim and Zach the most and I’m not sure why that didn’t happen. I think it would have been amazing to see a live performance of a sketch, but I would have been more than happy if it was still the same format but with just some good insight/commentary from the creators. It sucks to make such a bad review and wish it wasn’t the case

    Horrible. Lazy.

by Phenis on 5/4/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

It’s amazing to me that a group of people who get paid millions to entertain turn into a bunch of unprepared sloppy dopes on stage. Show wasn’t funny. Very weird material. Stupid banter. I could’ve thrown together a better show than this…but I mean, I’m not the one getting paid here. You know how some skits on “I Think You Should Leave” aren’t funny and you question why they even put them in the show? Well…this “show” was worse than those skits. Give me my money back Timmy.

    Brutal…

by Dan on 5/4/24Arizona Financial Theatre - Phoenix

I wouldn’t again. It was very poorly done. Like the worst of podcast, sorta attempts at improv, and a live airing of unseen footage which was mediocre at best. Love you Tim.
