New Orleans-bred rapper and freestyle king Kevin Gates is quickly making himself known within the hip-hop community since breaking onto the scene with 2007's smashing mixtape Pick Of Da Litter. Combining his raspy flows with soulful crooning on heavy hitters like "Satellites" and "Arm & Hammer", Gates has a finesse that keeps fans coming back for more. Back on tour, Gates and his hype men will have ticket buyers getting down all night at his upcoming shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Kevin Gates, born Kevin Gilyard, grew up on the streets of Louisiana finding solace in music by penning lyrics at a young age. After spending years honing his craft, Gates released his debut mixtape Pick Of Da Litter in 2007. Although it wasn't an initial hit, the album sparked several more releases and attracted attention from big-time artists like Lil' Wayne. The up-and-coming rapper has been on the rise ever since, collaborating with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J on his 2013 mixtape Stranger Than Fiction and having music featured on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Songs of 2013 list. With his 2014 album By Any Means and an upcoming tour in the works, Gates will have eager ticket buyers shakin' it to his hot rap jams.
It was amazing Kevin Gates has a beautiful spirit this was my second time seeing him I went in Nov. 2021 when he's in the building it's like his energy takes over the room

I will start out by saying the venue was WAY too hot. Absolutely burning up. But Kevin Gates made it all worth it!! Best show I've ever seen!
The concert was really good! The ONLY thing that I thought that could have been different was the music could have been about 2 notches lower. It was almost too loud for that building. Kevin Gates put on a great performance though!
Was really excited about this concert, and took my oldest son who is also a huge fan. K Camp being there was cool, but listened to 2 DJ's for the majority of the concert. Gates came out 2.5 hours after the show started and only performed snippets of songs, after opening with a slow song no one knew the words to and was out there a short time, considering we waited 2.5 hours for him to come on stage.

I’ve waited so long to see Kevin Gates in concert. So long that I cried when he came out. Loved absolutely every moment and can’t wait to go again
This was the best experience I’ve ever had and I’m so impressed with all the openers and Kevin Gates !!! This was a night I will never ever forget ! It was not rushed and they all gave the performance that I showed up for , plus some !
Show was great, audience was wild! Can’t wait to see him again!!
I did not enjoy the show at all. Kevin didn’t play his most popular songs. Majority of the crowd was sitting down most of the time because no could get into the concert. KCamp did better than Kevin in my opinion.
