Not rednecks, not tenors, but still worth seeing
by Goldylox2U on 2/10/17University of SC Performing Arts - BeaufortRating: 4 out of 5Good show, but not what I was expecting. Had the impression it would be Jeff Foxworthy, but with singing. None of the singers are rednecks, however. In fact, one is a Californian educated at Julliard's, but the show was enjoyable nonetheless. Lots of humor inserted in show tunes and opera and the singing was fantastic. In reality, they are one soprano/tenor, one true tenor and one baritone, but that worked for me. Very powerful voices and the harmonizing was terrific! The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because they misrepresented who they were, so it was lacking in authenticity. Also, by faking the redneck, it's more like poking fun at someone else instead of laughing at yourself.
