Brooklyn experimental rockers MGMT released their self-titled third album in 2013 while continuing to play headlining concert dates and festivals all over the world. Fans scooped up tickets to hear songs like "Kids," "Electric Feel," and "Congratulations." The band's singular style of psychedelic noise-pop, which integrates plenty of electronica elements, was forged beginning in 2002 by founders Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden when they were freshmen at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Their debut album, Oracular Spectacular, was released in 2006, and MGMT started gaining fans with the help of their opening sets for trend-setting acts like Of Montreal, Radiohead, and Beck. By 2009, MGMT could count Paul McCartney among their growing stable of fans, and they landed a spot opening for the ex-Beatle at Boston's Fenway Park. On tour, the five-piece group has been known to augment the flower-power vibe of their music by projecting repeated colorful, kaleidoscopic images and other random visuals on a backdrop behind the stage.

My family had a great time. They were a cute band!
Easy to Uber over to the Palms. The stage area was smaller then i thought, but every seat was a great seat. MGMT was out front by the walk in before the concert. Shocking.. but amazing performance.
Super fun... Mgmt Concert was amazing. Would like to see them again. Their opening act Cola Boyy was awesome as well. Great sound.
This was the perfect mix of weird meets psychedelic Rock and trance. Down to the opener named cola boy who was unexpectedly very good. To the rock and trance type music in between bands, it was all fantastic! I cannot wait until MGMT come back! And the pearl was a Great venue to see them too. Only 1 reason it's 4 stars: despite everything being so great, I could barely hear any of the words being sang. The music was crystal clear but overall the words were very difficult to hear.
Great Sound, great views and reasonable ticket price! Keeping an eye on the Pearl to see upcoming shows
I loved meeting them for the first time and hearing their music they had so many tasteful songs and sounds. They made the crowd get up and dance like the night was never gonna end and I loved feeling every beat through my seat. Even if I went to it alone I still had a wonderful experience for my first Rick concert ever!
waited a long time to see them live, wasn't disappointed. Awesome show
MGMT put on a show that was beyond excellent. The energy was high, the lineup was pristine, and they sounded better live than I could’ve ever hoped. Warpaint put on a great show as well, I liked them much better live than I’d expected based on their discography.
I have been dreaming of seeing MGMT for probably 8 years and it really was just amazing. They sound so good live and Andrew is such a sweet soul. Other than having to stand on my feet all night, I had an amazing time and would see them over and over.
