RINGO STARR & HIS ALL STARR BAND IN CONCERT:

Count your lucky starrs, Ringo Starr & His All Starr band are on tour, bringing Beatles classics and the best of Ringo's solo material to fans around the country. The latest incarnation of the supergroup features yet another stellar lineup of musicians, including Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar, Santana's Gregg Rolie on keys, and Todd Rundgren on, well, just about everything. Covering a variety of contemporary and classic hits alongside beloved favorites by the Fab Four, the band has hordes of eager fans awaiting their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ringo Starr, beloved drummer of The Beatles, has been touring the world with his All Starr Band since 1989. Over the last two decades, Ringo has played with 12 variations of the band, always sharing the stage with members who are veritable stars in their own right. Past All Starr Band players include Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Peter Frampton, and Sheila E., and the ever-humble Ringo always gives his fellow performers equal stage time to perform hits from their respective catalogs.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"He played old classics from his solo career and Beatles, and plenty of other favorites from bands of our era. He is a true showman!"

"Ringo is a great emcee and performer. He is funny, down-to-earth, and obviously loves to perform — he was having lots of fun, and so were we. The musicians he brought along this time were fantastic..."

"People of all ages (kids to seniors) all dancing, cheering, clapping, laughing and singing together. I'm not sure I have ever seen anything quite like it. Incredible show & incredible talent."

  • Ringo Starr and 3 other great bands!

by Starfan on 10/2/24Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Ringo Starr at 84 put on an entertaining show including all his hits - Photograph, Yellow Submarine, Boogaloo, The No no song (tired of waking up on the floor). He sang, he drummed and he shared the stage with key members of Men At Work, Toto and Average White Band. Fun night to relax and enjoy fun music from the past

  • Wonderful and fun.

Seats were great and the concert was fantastic. Ringo and the All Star band were terrific. Played a lot of the well known songs. All of the band members were good too and the music was great. Enjoyed Ringo when he played the drums. If you get a chance to see Ringo - you would enjoy the show!

  • Great to see the legendary Ringo Starr in concert

by Mark on 9/29/24The Anthem - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

I was fortunate enough to see his bandmate Paul McCartney in 2010, and now I've seen Ringo for the first time. He has appeared with his All-Starr Band many times in this area, but for whatever reason I never attended any of his shows before. I rate the quality of the musicianship highly, with each of the band members taking their turn playing their own repertoires (Colin Hay from Men at Work; Steve Lukather from Toto; and Hamish Stuart from the Average White Band). It was good to hear the songs from each of them. However, there was no explanation given for the absence of Edgar Winter, who was on the bill, so that's one reason for dinging the rating one star. The other would be predictability; other than some deeper dives into his own early Beatle catalogue (I Wanna Be Your Man, Boys, and Matchbox, if memory serves), you knew he would sing Octopus's Garden, Yellow Submarine, and With a Little Help From My Friends. Nothing wrong with that, as you would expect to hear them. He also did most of his own solo hits--It Don't Come Easy, Back Off Boogaloo, Photograph...a surprise was I'm the Greatest. I would have liked to hear The No-No Song. But overall, the sound quality was great, Ringo had a good connection with the audience, and the night was very enjoyable.

  • THE BEST!!!

We attended Ringo’s concert in Niagara Falls, Canada on September 22, 2024. It was absolutely one of the BEST concerts I’ve ever been to! Ringo sounded great, was funny and had so much energy! The All Starr band was also excellent! Each and every one of them were so talented and sang the greatest songs!! Ringo has always been my favorite Beatle and I am so happy I was able to see him in person! I saw Paul McCartney in concert in Minneapolis in 2014…..I feel so fortunate that I was able to see both of these icons in person! They truly are the GREATEST!!

  • Wonderful show

by Sticks on 9/25/24Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert by very talented musicians. I had not known Warren Ham prior to this show, but he impressed me! He was central to raising the level of the entire show. His singing and instrumental contributions were unexpectedly excellent! Today I read that Ringo is ill. We hope he has a speedy and full recovery.

  • Fantastic

The show was really fantastic. Started on time. Ringo sounded great and it was an honor to see him play the drums. The other band members were amazing and so very talented. It was like we were able to see four big time bands at once! My only complaint... I wish it went longer!

  • Amazing Show

A very entertaining show, full of very talented musicians, each a star in their own right, and whose musical talents are second to none!!! Ringo, as always, is very down to earth and interactive with the audience, makes you feel good. I will certainly go to see this, when it comes around again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing evening of entertainment.
