About

Hard-touring Florida rockers A Day to Remember carved out their niche more than a decade ago by fusing metalcore verses with pop-punk choruses. They toured relentlessly before releasing their debut album, 2005's "And Their Name Was Treason," on a small indie label. On the heels of that album's success, the band landed a deal with a major indie label and released three albums over the next four years. A dispute with the new label led made the band take a more  DIY approach in 2013, self-issuing a new album titled Common Courtesy. A Day to Remember's current lineup -- which has been in place since 2009 -- includes Jeremy McKinnon (vocals), Neil Westfall (rhythm guitar), Josh Woodard (bass), Kevin Skaff (lead guitar), and Alex Shelnutt (drums). The five-piece group is known for pulling out all the stops in concert -- the over-the-top set-design on their 2013 looked like a two-story suburban house -- delivering plenty of pyrotechnics and energy for the fans who buy tickets.

  • Great show, lots of energy!

by Tyrell on 12/30/24Vibrant Arena at the Mark - MolineRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I went to this venue and I enjoyed the "small"atmosphere. I also really enjoyed how close the parking was to the arena as I didn't have to cross any roads. The show itself was absolutely incredible. I'm never disappointed by A Day to Remember and always try to see them whenever they're around. I can't speak on the other acts but ADTR was spectacular. The crowd interactions, the energy, cannons shooting confetti and inflatable volleyballs add so much more to an already incredible live performance. I'm someone that likes to be as close to the barricade at center stage. It's not always easy to accomplish but with a standard entrance ticket I was able to be just 1 person away from the barricade directly in the center. I did wait 30 minutes before doors opened but VIP and early entrance isn't required to get a good view if you plan accordingly. If you don't like crowd surfers then I'd encourage you to get seats or stay in the back or to the sides as ADTR as a substantial amount of crowd surfers. Security and the crowd did a great job preventing anyone from falling but if you're someone with back problems you may want to avoid being up close and center. Overall, incredible show, from the venue, performance itself, crowd interactions and the setlist.

  • Amazing Show! Basically a religious experience!

by Denisse on 11/15/24Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

I missed the first band due parking traffic but August Burns Red as an opener was a phenomenal warm up, if you can even call it a warm up, because I felt like I was at church praising the metals gods. Then ADTR came on and the crowd went nuts with excitement. They played for a full hour and a half and did a lot, I mean A LOT, of their "less popular"but still incredible songs. My husband was thrilled hearing so many of the B sides and how good they still were even though they're not the mainstream songs. I saw ADTR at Rockville earlier this year in Daytona, so when I saw they were coming down to Hollywood I had zero hesitation purchasing the tix! 1000% would recommend!!! It's amazing to be able to see bands as an adult that you listened to as a broke teenager who could never afford to go to concerts.

by Chris on 11/13/24Hard Rock Live - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to some late tour concerts where I saw some bands members were clearly burnt out. All of the bands here were fantastic. This was a great show. Great venue at hard rock live as well.

I had a good time with the experiences and the music. I haven't since since Highschool (over a decade ago lol). Can't to see what other bands come to play. At first we thought we weren't going to make it (due to a family event), however, made on time got in on time to see August Burn Red.

The performer's microphone wasn't loud enough to hear over the instruments so that was disappointing but other than that I love dailys place the setup is great!
