Bad Wolves on Tour

The members of Bad Wolves all have extensive performing and touring experience with former bands. This undoubtedly explains why the quintet is such an accomplished live act despite being together for only a few years. Bad Wolves concerts draw from elements of multiple genres — nu-metal, hard rock, '90s post-hardcore and metalcore — to create a high-octane show full of heavy guitar licks, courtesy of Chris Cain and Doc Coyle. Frontman Tommy Vext adds to the ferocity with a versatile voice that can be gruff but emotional, and a formidable stage presence.

Bad Wolves are road warriors who in 2019 opened for Five Finger Death Punch and for Papa Roach's Who Do You Trust? Tour. In 2020, they opened Disturbed's The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour along with Staind.

Bad Wolves in Concert

The five members of Bad Wolves were friends before they teamed up for the band. Vocalist Tommy Vext — who was formerly in Divine Heresy and a later lineup of Snot, and also filled in live for Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody — had collaborated previously with ex-God Forbid guitarist Doc Coyle, and knew ex-DevilDriver drummer John Boecklin from touring. The latter, in turn, has known rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (formerly of Bury Your Dead) for years — and ex–In This Moment bassist Kyle Konkiel once tried out for one of Vext's former bands.

Bad Wolves released their first single, "Learn to Live," in 2017, and followed that up with a full-length album, Disobey, the next year. That album featured a cover of the Cranberries' "Zombie," which was a massive hit in 2018: It reached No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart and also crossed over and reached No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100. Disobey also spawned two other massive radio hits: "Hear Me Now" and "Remember When." In 2019, Bad Wolves released their second album, N.A.T.I.O.N., led by the radio favorite "Killing Me Slowly."

All 3 bands killed it!! The place was very empty and I thought that the bands might not be into it with the small turnout but every one of them gave the same effort that they would at a packed event. I can’t say enough good things about all 3 bands

  • Left wanting more.

The energy this guys bring to the the stage is just amazing. They will definitely get you on your feet. They also know how to get a crowd involved and interact with the crowd.

  • Not enough time

    by A. G. on 9/1/22Rating: 5 out of 5

These guys put on a great show! However, 30min is not enough time. We had 1 hour for everyone to get into the venu before they took the stage. Their set was over before everyone was able to make it in the building. Still had a great time!

  • Badass

by Dilly on 2/2/20Rating: 5 out of 5

These guys know how to rock. I first saw them open for Papa Roach and later for Five Finger Death Punch, they are definitely worth seeing!

The dependence on vocal backing tracks was kind of disappointing. I know the practice is widespread, but at times was too obvious to overlook.

  • Bad wolves were awsome
