BLESSTHEFALL IN CONCERT:
Christian metalcore band blessthefall always leaves audiences stunned with their combination of hard-hitting metal riffs and pulse-pounding tempos. With a Christian message wrapped up in a hardcore fanís dream, the band brings a potent combination of spiritually focused lyrics and an intense setlist that always delivers. While the thunderous low-end tones and double bass drumming hit the audience in the chest, blessthefallís guitarists add a melodic bent with their unbelievable riffs. Beau Bokanís pristine vocals soar through the bandís cleaner passages, sharply contrasting Jared Warthís guttural growling on heavy sections. Dancing the razors edge between themes of transcendence and primal rage on songs like ìHollow Bodiesî, ìPromised Oneísî, and ìTo Hell & Backî, blessthefall give Christian and metalcore fans an opportunity to come together, even if itís just to mosh to some heavy songs.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
United by their faith and love for metalcore music, Phoenix high schoolers Eric Lambert (guitar), Matt Traynor (drums), Jared Warth (bassist/scream vocals), and Craig Mabbitt (vocals) formed blessthefall in 2003. After graduation the band quickly gained recognition outside their local scene, thanks to tours with like-minded groups like Alesana and Norma Jean. Their 2007 debut album His Last Walk peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Heatseakers Chart and helped the band earn a spot on the Vans Warped Tour. Despite their rising success, founding vocalist Mabbitt decided to leave the group midway through a 2007 European tour to spend more time with his daughter. The group teamed up with singer Beau Bokan (formerly of Take the Crown), who debuted on the bandís 2009 sophomore album Witness. More than a decade in, blessthefall continues to impress metalcore fans with their unrelenting live shows and heart-racing recordings, including 2015ís To Those Left Behind.
super sweet guys that know how to put on a phenomenal show. so stoked i got to experience the HBX tour!
Best show in a while all bands gave 100 percent of their ability
Historic tour with some amazing supporting bands! Blessthefall NEVER disappoints! Hope to see them again!
The energy was great, every single band, amazing!! Had a great time! 😍😍
So good to see these guys back after their hiatus. It felt like we never missed a beat. Venue was great and staff was organized. Sound was awesome. Overall it was a really great time.
So good to see them get back together and go on tour after 4.5yrs of being gone. 10/10 was an amazing show and killed it!
Amazing show. All the bands killed it. Bless the fall was incredible
All the bands were great, but the pit section was a little too crowded and too violent. Even one of the band members told the crowd to be kind to each other. Entry into the event was easy. The bands were great.
Easily one of the best shows I’ve ever been to, love this venue and the acoustics in the venue were awesome!
The show itself was fantastic. All the bands were a lot of fun and gave their all. The problem is that they scheduled this at the same time as an OSU football game which made parking for the event a nightmare (my daughter and I had to park over a mile away from the venue).
Blessthefall performance was spectacular, Newport music hall was ok, the area around the venue was disgusting (block after block of garbage filled yards)
Bless the fall, 1000 below and the word alive were great. You aren't allowed to crowd surf or get wild but the bands put on a good show.
BlesstheFall had a really good stage presence, and audience interaction. Their music was just okay, I honestly expected more but I guess the band has had a few lead singers now and it's pretty hard to evolve as a cohesive unit when that happens.
I've seen blessthefall two times now. Both times they brought this insane energy with them. I will for sure be seeing them next time they come to my city.
All 5 bands were amazing! I definitely have two additional bands I’m following meow because they were unforgettable live and that’s A War Within and Thousand Below
Blessthefall put on a show!!! I can’t wait until they come back to NYC because I will be there again!!
incredible show, btf was amazing as always. the crowd was insane considering it was a sunday night, but they all really came to party. it was an incredible show altogether
Loved the concert, but blessthefall didn't mix well with the rest of the bands. Miss May I or The Plot In You should've headlined this tour
Venue was awesome for the sound that BTF brings to the stage. They perform effortlessly every time they come to California. Great concert!
Chiodos did not disappoint and Blessthefall knows how to get a crowd pumped!
