Bloc Party was epic! The Palladium is such a great small venue!
I love Bloc Party and I love the Palladium. This show brought me straight back to 2005-2006. Really fun show. Great crowd energy.
Is was the best experience, it was also my 10 year old daughter’s first time seeing them. Taking her to shows did the best. Bloc party did not disappoint at all from start to finish put a smile on my face. I didn’t know what to expect because the last time I seen them play they had all the original members. All I can say is all these years I still see why bloc party is still one of my favorite bands.
I waited a long time to see this band and it was well worth it. They were brilliant. Straightforward, aggressive while still being melodic. And equal light was the venue itself. The Palladium, the sound kicks ass!! 💥🧨💥
This band is phenomenal I flew to Paris just to see them last October. Imagine my joy when I saw them playing in my city?!
Blown away. Seriously unexpected. I’ve seen a lot of shows and this one took me by surprise! Loved it!
We traveled all the way from Georgia to Boston for this specific show, of course Bloc Party and Cults we’re amazing, but the views are totally blocked once people are standing on the rails. They really need to consider doing something for people to have a view from any area. I’ve been to shows around the country, and this venue is terrible. They even put the band merchandise on the first floor general admission so you had to be escorted to the table to purchase what you wanted then led off. The artists were amazing, but the venue is terrible. If you’re going to a show here make sure you get there when the doors open if you have general admission on the second floor.
The concert was better than I ever dreamt of. Thank you!
When you get to see an album that changed music for you performed live, you go. Silent Alarm is more that a collection of songs from the debut album of Bloc Party, it’s a statement about life. When this tour was announced I knew it live up to the epic hype. Kele, Russell, Justin and multitalented Louise were unbelievable. From the first note to the last I was captivated and drawn in to the hypnotic musical arrangement of songs. I can tell you this was a musical experience that changed me. It’s hard to explain what I saw best way is to experience it for yourself! Always New Depths
Great venue, great show. The Anthem was super accommodating to my ADA tkt. So glad I could attend that show
Great Venue and Bloc Party were awesome however the sound is literally awful. You can't watch a rock band when you can hear people having a chat about what they had for lunch. Its a shame as its a beautiful setting.
Ezra Furman and his band the Boyfriends were spectacular. Although they were the opening act, they were the highlight of the show. Great musicians playing great music with great lyrics. I know I was not alone - they people around me who had come to see the headliner were all saying they wanted more of this music.
This was the second time I had ever seen them live and once again they delivered. I don't think I would ever get tired of them and I would see them again and again as much as I possibly could. I think they even sound better live.
Discovered a sick punk rock band in Ezra Furman! Mould rocked out! & Bloc Party was amazing. Los Angeles crowds can suck, they don't dance till it's a commercial song & box seats never stood. Whatevs the venue wasn't made for punk rock, no room for a mosh pit, but it was still fun.
This is the third time I have seen Bloc Party but the first time with the current lineup. They still sounded great. A nice intimate show.
Was stood up by Bloc Party. Complete divas. After standing for 3 hours waiting for show to start I had to leave. Would rather never to go to the venue again and will never support Bloc Party ever!!!
They played a lot of new songs, which was kind of disappointing to the hardcore fan but it was still a great show.
Never seen Bloc Party before this show. The lead singer is an absolute performer with great charisma and a hell of a voice. Would love to see them again. Also, the venue is amazing. Fantastic; apparently updated, acoustics. -Drew
Great show. Good mix of old and new songs. The band had huge energy w/ new members bring fresh feeling. Light show awesome. And it was good and LOUD. I'm 55 and my girl is 71....we had a blast.
Bloc Party were fantastic. Kele Okereke was really engaging with the crowd and really got everyone moving. They played a great set: a good mix of old hits and some good new songs. And after closing with what has normally been their encore set, they came out for one more song, unexpectedly.
