About

BULLETBOYS IN CONCERT:

LA glam rockers BulletBoys are still going strong more than three decades after they first climbed the charts with hard-hitting anthems like ìSmooth Up In Yaî. Their hair may not be as big as it was in the ë80s but their arena-sized anthems sound as massive as ever, making even the most intimate venues feel like sold-out stadium shows. True to glam form, BulletBoys donít scrimp on the showmanship in concert ñ their sets are raucous, adrenaline-filled spectacles full of heavy drums, wailing guitar solos, and the searing shouts and screams of original frontman Marq Torien. Fans looking to relive the glory days of dolled-up rockers and serious axemanship wonít want to miss BulletBoys as they tear through their classic hits as well as new cuts from their 2015 album Elefante

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

BulletBoys was formed in Los Angeles in 1987 by several former members of Sunset Strip hard rock staple King Kobra. The group signed with Warner Bros. and released their self-titled debut album in 1988, cracking the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned several Top 40 hits on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, including a blistering cover of the OíJayís mid-ë70s soul hit ìFor the Love of Moneyî. The bandís over-the-top videos received heavy airplay on MTV and they released two more popular albums on Warner Bros. in the early ë90s, but by 1995 they decided to call it quits. The hiatus was short-lived, however ñ BulletBoys reformed in 1998 with the addition of former Guns Ní Roses guitarist Steven Adler. Since then theyíve recorded and toured regularly with a rotating lineup led by original frontman Marq Torien. With their 2015 album Elefante still fresh in fansí minds, BulletBoys will continue to do what they do best: rock fans to the core every time they take the stage to perform their impressive catalog of lighters-in-the-air hard rock hits.

  • Rockin Show!!

by BBLVROCKSTAR on 6/25/19The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Opener bands Kraterface and The Battery Electric were good support band for BulletBoys. These 80's legends still have what it takes to rock the house. The room was small and intimate but rockin the whole time. New material is as great as the old classics. Catch them next time they are around, you wont be disappointed!

Loved seeing these guys again, they had amazing energy, their sound was spot-on and Marq still has those crazy eyes and incredible chops (and great hair too, love the shorter look!) Can't wait until their next show....come to San Diego boys, The Ramona Mainstage would be a great fit for you!

I wasn't sure how a hair band would do at the Hard Rock Cafe like the Bulletboys. I know now they rocked the house. Sounded great and the lead singer can still belt it out.
