About

Claiming their spot as metal veterans, Butcher Babies have been crushing stages worldwide with their vicious live performance and explosive energy for nearly 15 blistering years. Their stage presence is a hypnotic spectacle that leaves audiences hungry for more. Frontwoman Heidi Shepherd, guitarist Henry Flury, drummer Chase Brickenden and bassist Ricky Bonazza juxtapose brutal, aggressive riffs with beautiful melodies that wail with emotional redemption.

The group's first two studio albums reached the Top 5 on multiple Billboard charts. Butcher Babies hit a new record high with their third LP, 'LILITH' as it debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Metal Charts and No. 7 on the iTunes Rock Charts with a duo of tracks hitting the U.S. Radio airwaves.

With three albums and two EPs under their belt, Butcher Babies have reached a new level of maturity solidifying a triumphant return after a brief creative hiatus to write and rebuild. Rather than sit still throughout the pandemic, they released a barrage of singles followed by several groundbreaking tours celebrating the return to live music. The band released a double album on July, 7 2023, reflecting their growth as a band. Butcher Babies are ready to take on new heights while they continue to knock down barriers.

Butcher Babies have toured relentlessly among the likes of Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, Danzig, In This Moment, Hollywood Undead, Cradle of Filth, Black Label Society, etc; played music festivals including Mayhem, Download (UK), Hellfest (France), Knotfest (US & Japan), Wacken (Germany), Soundwave (AUS), Hell and Heaven (Mexico), Rock on The Range, Carolina Rebellion, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, etc. They have recently appeared in the film 'Alleluia! : The Devils Carnival' and the Netflix horror hit 'Slasher'.

Butcher Babies bring so much energy & fun to their performance. Great sound! Killer rifs, a badass drum solo & Heidi & Carla have fantastic chemistry. Their vocals are on point! Heidi really knows how to connect with her audience! Never a bad show, if you haven't seen them live, what are you waiting for??!!

  • 2 Great Bands and 1 Great Show

    by ElectricFuneral65 on 5/29/18Starland Ballroom - SayrevilleRating: 5 out of 5

Butcher Babies and Non Point were really good. They switch off headlining and tonight was the Butcher Babies turn. They played for 1 hour and the energy was intense. Heidi jumps higher then any performer out there and Carla has that distinct growl that is unmistakable. They only played 2 songs from my favorite album,Goliath, however the new stuff is very good too. Great value for your concert dollar to see Non Point and the Butcher Babies on the same night.

  • Blown Away by Nonpoint

by Cgilli on 5/2/18The Masquerade - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

What an awesome experience. My first rock concert and I picked a great one. The VIP party with Nonpoint was great, the band members were really friendly. They took pictures with us, we got to hear songs off of their new unreleased album and chatted. I really had a great time. I can't wait to see them again. I also liked Sumo Cyco and Cane Hill they gave a pretty cool performance.

Sumo Cyco was great. They had a lot of energy and they really got everyone excited. They came down on the floor and everything. Cane Hill three down for sure. They know how to get a crowd rowdy. And of course Butcher Babies came out swinging. Heidi and Carla came out with so much energy. The vocals for everyone were amazing.

  • Unlimited Amount of Energy

The Butcher Babies are a hard act to follow. They played for 45 minutes and never slowed down. Heidi and Carla have so much energy that they get the crowd into the music, even though many people did not recognize the songs. The music is straight in your face hard rock/heavy metal and very entertaining. They never disappoint.
