Cash’d Out

The packed house started leaving in droves because of it. We waited it out for 1.25hrs, hoping to hear Man in Black, I Walk the Line, Boy named Sue just to name a few, to no avail. Disappointing - especially since we drove up 3 hrs to Big Bear and stayed the weekend because they were sold out in my town, just a couple months ago.
I have recently gone to a couple of venues to see tributes that were supposedly very good and I am starting to see a pattern - the good ones get a following, then they get sick of singing the same hits over and over, and believe they are good enough to go on their own and do stuff they write or like. While that may be true, if you have someone paying tickets to hear Johnny Cash hits, then actually play his hit songs.
Also, Johnny Cash is a patriot and he has some great songs about his support of the USA and it’s troops - why did the band have the DJ play the song “I am proud to be an American” with the picture montage in the background as they were coming out on stage to begin their set. That is just weird
