A former linebacker for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a one-time NASCAR pit crew member, Chase Rice's entry into country music was no wild card. Rice broke through the scene in 2010 with the group Florida Georgia Line before self-recording and releasing the EP,Country as Me, in 2011 via his label Dack Janiels Music. A full-length album, Dirt Road Communion, followed in 2012, featuring the hit single “How She Rolls.” Rice's relentless touring earned him an impressive following of country music fans before he eventually signed with Triple 8 Management, home to the Eli Young Band. His latest EP, Ready Set Roll debuts on October 15, 2013.
Great concert. Amazing music. HOB Chicago was a great venue. If you don't like Chase, you don't like country!
From the time the doors opened we had a great evening at the Fillmore with Chase Rice! We started with a meet and greet where Chase spent time with each person individually and talked to them! The show was filled with suprises including some off the wall stuff that really made things interesting! If you ever get the chance to see Chase Rice DO IT! You will not regret it!
Took 8 of my friends down for the event and they all loved it. Chase rocked the place!
Chase Rice ANNNNND Sam Hunt rocked it!!!! Never heard of Sam Hunt prior and he was amazing too!!!
This had to be one of the most exciting shows I've been to in a while! It was such a great experience to watch new and upcoming artists that I would recommend again
Chase rice put on an amzing show!!! He played for what must have been close to three hours, and he signed autographs afterward!! He will be a superstar one day!
Chase Rice is a true performer. It's a shame that he's no on the radio yet with his own songs. Sam Hunt was awesome as well. Great opening act!
Honestly, I've never been more disappointed before going to a concert. With a friend I saw Chase Rice opening for Kip Moore at the Bowery Ballroom on August 3, 2012... He was amazing. He sat on a bar stool on stage with his guitar wearing jeans and a tshirt, and just sang. His music was amazing. As soon as I got out of there I downloaded one of his CDs... I just had to hear him again. A few days later my husband and I went to the Paramount in Huntington, NY to see Kellie Pickler - and much to my surprise, Chase Rice was opening again! I was so excited to be able to hear his music live again, and was so happy that my husband could hear it with me. We're both big country fans and I was excited that he would get to experience what I did days before. We enjoyed Chase so much that we wound up leaving as Kellie Pickler started to sing. We felt we had got our moneys worth and enjoyed the show. Flash forward to a few days ago, my husband and I now living in Connecticut travelled to Gramercy Theatre in NYC to see Chase Rice. Honestly, it was a waste of a night. I knew Chase Rice as the sexy jeans and tshirt guy who all he needed was a guitar and his voice to keep a crowd entertained. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Chase showed up with a band, which he could have done without. The drums were so loud I could barely hear what he was singing. Also, he was wearing white skinny jeans. He kept standing on stage on these boxes that would shine light up on him, and all they did was put a spotlight on his bulge - I was disgusted. I was beyond disappointed, and regret spending the night traveling to NYC to leave half way through the worst concert I've ever seen. I will continue to buy Chase's cds - but I will NEVER waste my time or money going to a live show again!!
Was my first time seeing Chase Rice and he was great! Full of energy and terrific live show. The venue was a little dated and attracted an interesting crowd.
What's not to love? Cheap tickets, a great venue with some of the best unrecognized talent! Sam Hunt and Chase Rice are two up and coming artist that certainly should be recognized for the musical ability. They both captured the crowd and kept you dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! I simply cannot WAIT to see them both again.
This has easily been one of my favorite concerts to date! I got meet and greet passes as well and Chase was a sweetheart and very personable. He put on a great show and got the audience very involved. You would have never know it was a Sunday night and people had to go back to work/classes the next day. The entire show was very high energy! I loved how he played Jack Daniels & Jesus and The Dance with just him and the guitar on stage. Overall it was an amazing show and I can't wait to see him again!
the music was so good, their talent for writing songs was apparent, the way the interacted with the audience was stellar.
Concert Was Awesome!!! Venue Was A Great Smaller Venue. Great Viewing From Anywhere!!
Great opener, Sam Hunt's "Raised on It" is my new favorite song! Chase Rice put on one hell of a show! He knows how to entertain a crowd for sure!
Chase Rice is kryptonite and he "Beats a million bucks"!
The Filmore was so up close and personal! And the talent was amazing. I'd never heard of Sam Hunt until I saw him & I'm obsessed. And Chase Rice! SO GOOD! Seeing them this weekend in NYC. Overall, so much fun. And only $15!
Chase is just incredible! Great show great opener. The Fillmore was an excellent place for the event
Sam Hunt was amazing. Chase was fantastic. Met them both and they were so nice! Both amazing live.
This was an incredible concert! Both the opener and Chase Rice were talented in many ways: they could sing, play musical instruments, write songs, AND rap! I loved that they mixed their own songs with today's hits, other country classics, and even different genres like rap and hip-hop! I was entertained the whole time, and I just had so much fun!
Excellent performance......Love him! Will go see him anytime he is in town.
