CupcakKe in Concert
Chicago artist CupcakKe divulges everything and apologizes for nothing with her brash and biting trap-inspired rap. Her heavy, hard-edged, sometimes humorous music is a clear product of her background. Born Elizabeth Eden Harris in 1997, she grew up in the south side of Chicago alongside fellow future rappers Chief Keef and Lil Reese—but she started down quite a different path. As a young girl, Harris wrote and performed her own religious poetry at her local church. Eventually, on the advice of a parishioner, she began to turn those poems into raps. Soon enough, with plenty of Lil Kim inspiration, her poetic wordplay quickly turned explicit.
With a tiny chunk of cash from her mom, she booked a studio to record her first demo, and CupcakKe was born. She began to upload her songs to YouTube and in late 2015, she started to see her views skyrocket. Within a day, she was featured on the major hip-hop site WorldStarHipHop. She released two more singled that would eventually be featured on her 2016 debut mixtape. The collection of songs proved CupcakKe's versatility beyond a shock rapper, with brutal and candid songs like "Pedophile" and "Life." Within a few months, she'd release her second mixtape, ‘S.T.D (Shelters to Deltas),' and by October 2016, she released her debut studio album, ‘Audacious,' including dance-fueled LGBT anthem "Lgbt."
Her output would continue to prove prolific. By early 2017, she was featured on English pop star Charli XCX's "Lipgloss," and released her sophomore album, ‘Queen Elizabitch.' At this time, most of her success was found online, but she'd soon hit the road for The Marilyn Monhoe Tour, bringing her vivacious personality to the stage. The following year, she was already on her third album, ‘Ephorize,' and by the end of 2018 she would join Iggy Azalea on the Bad Girls Tour.

i went to her detroit concert and it was amazing.. she was super late and only on there for about 40-45 minutes but it was worth every minute. i’m going to another one of her concerts on January 31st (my birthday) and i’m so exited.
Our ticket said doors open at 8PMwhich usually means half hour to get in, get a drink and find your spot then the opening act. We got there at 8:55 and the show was ending!!! When we went to the front to ask about this the flier said doors open at 7PM. Very disappointing since this was a surprise birthday present for my daughter’s friend.
Doors opened at 7am, first guest artist came out around 8:15 and second right next to it. The Dj kept saying Cupcakke will be out in 10 minutes every 15 minutes. 9:49 and cupcakke hasn’t even came out yet. Left after 3 hours waiting for her. I wouldn’t try to go to any of her show from now on. Completely unprofessional and a disrespect for their fan or even someone else’s time. 👎👎👎👎
Cupcakke is one of the best shows I have ever been to. She's a queen fr.
Cupcakke was a little late (like always) but the openers both the DJ and Kei did an amazing job of warming up the crowd. When Cupcakke came out she blew by a set full of hits from her new album and crowd favorites. There is no other artist that can make a whole room moan to her songs. 10/10 you need to see her live.
Amazing concert~ Cupcakke really brought the stage to life and everyone was having a great time!
Attending this concert was really fun, the DJ did a a good job keeping the energy with their set, keeping the crowd singing along and dancing. Cupcakke also did amazing, her fanbase was true to her and we all sang along to her songs together as a community. The bar was easy to reach and there were no long lines and waiting time. I truly enjoyed this event and continue to look forward to seeing more of my favorite artists while being around fans just like me.
Felt like I was at the best club in AZ! One of the 2 DJs was super baller, and the guest artist sounded great! Cupcakke was absolutely phenomenal, had so much fun! I wish there was more free water and more ventilation but I had a good time
Amazing crowd work, amazing music. Cupcakke is so humble and kind, i love her
