New Edmar Castañeda fan

Special mention goes to the percussionist David Silliman, who was so good I had to google him when I got home, lol. The group played original pieces that were lively or moving or just plain fun. What I liked as much as Edmar's playing and energy was his spirit, (which you can feel as he plays), when he humbly addresses his audience. He is a warm, enthusiastic and extremely skilled musician. His harp is electronic (I think) so it does not have the traditional acoustic harp sound I was expecting, being a novice of his music. Highlight was his kids playing at the end briefly, son on the maracas and daughter on that beautiful harp! Highly recommended, if he comes to your area, GO!
