Ellis Paul Tickets

Ellis Paul is an institution. He's been around for many, many years. Always gracious and interactive with the audience. Sadly the place didn't sell out but he doesn't care. He just loves to tell stories and play music. Opening act was a local in Tucson named Ryan David Green. He is an excellent classical guitar player and was a gift to hear. He played the last couple of songs with Ellis and I think that made the music even better.

Great show in a small venue with a very appreciative audience.

I’ve been listening to Eli’s Paul for 20 years since a friend introduced me to him. Great storyteller and folk singer. I introduced my wife and daughter tonight and it wasn’t a disappointment. Thanks Ellis for continuing to preform.

I had seen Ellis Paul in Indianapolis several years ago and enjoyed his performance very much, so I was looking forward to seeing him in Ft. Lauderdale. Unfortunately, most of his time was spent talking and storytelling and not singing and playing which is why I went. He repeatedly mentioned he had done 2 earlier shows, so perhaps he was sung out and played out. While his stories were interesting and backgrounded many of the songs, the music should stand on its own and a short intro would be welcome, not a 10 minute talk for a 5 minute song. He is charming enough, but I went to see a musician perform.
