Average night of EJ music, we felt it was a short set, disappointing. The band wore these ridiculous wigs, guess trying to do the 70’s thing? Crowd was lame, we were the only ones up singing and dancing until the very end some people got up. Musical talent by the EJ impersonator was average, I’ve seen better for free at local clubs.
Sounded Great, Played most of the favorites, Had a great night
Kenny and the band are about as good as your gonna get without having the "original band and Elton"on stage. Kenny replicates the early Elton with precision and lots of fun. The band is equality up to the task of replicating the music of Nigel, Dee and Davie. A fantastic night of music. My only downside is that Kenny needs to play Elton music for about 4 hrs instead of 2 hrs.
Wow, the Band and singing was outstanding. I saw Elton in 1974 & 1976 at his peak, so I know how the songs should sound live when done well. And I've been disappointed by Elton in recent concerts as he strays far from his original sound and original recordings.. But "Elton, The Early Years "does what Elton John no longer can. They play true to the original songs, which is what I hoped for, but didn't expect. Outstanding band and concert!! If you're an old Elton fan like me, don't miss this show.... Great Show!!! 👍
Great show. Talented musicians and singers. Highly recommend. Hope to see again.
The attention to detail both visually and musically is uncanny. I would say that if you closed your eyes you’d think you were at an early Elton John concert….but the visuals are on the mark as well. From the instruments to the stage wear… everything was just A1 top of the heap! Start spreading the news…. when Kenny’s back in town!
The band was excellent. Kenny Metcalf as Elton was excellent. The sound was excellent. However, the venue is awkward for those seated on the flat cement surface. Security stands in the way of your view. People walk in front of you to take photos and videos despite security telling them to move on.. People constantly stand up and block the view of others and people constantly leave their seats to purchase more alcohol which is annoying to people seated in the same row. I will not be going to the Hanger again.
Always a great show. Great family and great entertainer. Maybe the family can play’ “I’ve seen that movie too “… I know he sees my signs when we attend. Hahaha. Great show!!!
Kenny Metcalf did a superb job as Elton John. It's a must see for Elton John fans.
