This was the third time to see him and even though it was good he was great the other two times.
I've seen him about 5 times. This show was unlike any show I've seen. Rapping jazz???? Pushing new album. Really didn't like the concert... had no gary clark jr ice known. The opener Abraham AlexanderI'm my opinion was better. Sound was better...his passion was there!!
This concert was amazing. Abraham Alexander is a new favorite. Gary Clark Jr. put on a great show and he showed if his varied skills musically. Loved it!
The venue could of been more organized but the show he put was worth it
Nice intimate venue with great sound. Gary Clark Jr and band put on a heckuva show
Get to show on time as opening act is enjoyable. Great guitarist who plays love songs. Gary played an amazing show, filled with his standards and a few new songs. Amazing show!!!!
This man is incredible. He puts on an amazing show, and his talent is a sight to behold. We are lucky to live in the same lifetime as Gary Clark Jr. and to see him live. He is the Jimmy Hendrix of our time. If you appreciate music, this is a show you must see!!! Gary Clark Jr. will go down in history as one of the best to ever do it. My husband and I had a great night! We sat near Gary Clark Jr’s parents and they were also lovely people. A diverse crowd, all together for one reason. GO TO THIS SHOW!!
The acoustics at emos are terrible. GC Jr and Marcus King both had hated times with the sound which was distracting to them and made it hard for them to get into the music.
Entry was a little chaotic but the show was fantastic, might just be one of the best I see this year. Grace Bowers and Marcus King as opening acts were a pleasant surprise. Gary was unbelievable, his band changed quite a bit and his new music is hard to describe.
Gary didn’t hit the stage til nearly midnight making everyone wait. The sound mix for his band was bad. (Opener mixes were fine). Gary also seemed “loaded” playing on stage. Marcus King was the highlight of the evening . Very disappointed in the sloppy and noisy play of GC.
