About

George Birge is a country music singer-songwriter hailing from Austin, Texas. Birge began his music career in 2013 as one half of the country duo Waterloo Revival, who released two EPs before parting ways in 2021. Birge immediately launched his solo career, first as a songwriter for Chris Lane, Matt Stell and more, then as a performer with his 2021 viral first single "Beer Beer, Truck Truck," which led to a record deal with RECORDS Nashville. He released his self-titled EP in 2022, followed by his debut solo album George Birge: Mind on You in 2023. The album’s title track “Mind on You” became Birge’s first solo single to crack both the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and the mainstream Hot 100.

  • Great evening!

by Chris on 7/17/24XL Live - HarrisburgRating: 5 out of 5

Bob 94.9 & XL Live always put on a great event together. All the artists were great but I had seen them before, so I was most excited to see Larry Fleet and his performance was amazing! The artists were personable and down to earth, the show was family friendly and the audience was like a group of friends getting together to hear some great music. The last minute addition of Nathan Merovich as an opening act was a wonderful surprise. He's a very talented local artist and just a really nice guy who deserves to go far in his career. His cover of "In Color"really captured the audience and it was awesome to witness as a hush poured over the crowd and they all came together swaying in unison and singing along with Nathan. The same thing happened again when Larry Fleet sang That's Where I Find God. Just a great evening! Most of the show is on the YouTube channel gooutnshootmore if you want to check it out.

We had a great time. George has a great voice. I think if he keeps what he's doing, he'll go a long way

  • Great intimate show

by Jeremy on 7/13/24XL Live - HarrisburgRating: 5 out of 5

It was really cool having all of the artists on stage at the same time and having them take turns telling stories and playing songs. It was a different format and it felt more personal. I liked it and look forward to doing it again next year!

  • Disappointed

    by beth08 on 3/2/24Rating: 2 out of 5

Last night we went to Parker McCollum’s Burn It Down concert in Columbia SC where Corey Kent and George Birge were set to perform. What we got was two knock offs, one of which hasn’t released music in 20 years. We didn’t even get an explanation as why Corey and George weren’t there. I paid money to see all 3 of those guys perform but only got one so to say I was disappointed is an understatement.
