Good Charlotte took the music world by storm in 2000 with their song “Little Things” and permanently made their place in history with the release of their second album The Young and the Hopeless. The band's high energy and light-natured lyrics were just the medicine people needed after the September 11 disaster. Good Charlotte brings their energy on tour; fans at a Good Charlotte concert are treated to a show by possibly the most fun band around. The guys from the band commonly reach out and grab hands with fans and sing directly to them, followed by an impressive display of jumping around and dancing. Their most recent single “Like It’s Her Birthday” reached the No. 7 spot on the ARIA Charts.
The Good Charlotte boys started as high school classmates inspired by the Beastie Boys to make a band in Waldorf, Maryland. These guys have grown from boys to men together, and they have shared their growth with their fans through their music. Since their first album release in 2000, Good Charlotte has won multiple awards for their music; their single “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” won Kerrang!’s Best Single award and MTV Video Music’s Viewer’s Choice award. The band itself won several awards for Favorite International Band, Best International Group and Best Alternative Rock. Good Charlotte is working on a new album that is set to release in 2014, and fans are anxious for what surprises it will hold. For those of you who weren't lucky enough to get a ticket to one of their other concerts, here is your chance; a tour is expected to follow their newest release.
Good Charlotte is my absolute favorite number one band of all time. They are amazing in person and put on a GREAT show! I have seen them at least 5 times in person and can't wait to see more and more!!
Great concert. Played mainly their old stuff, tons of energy, and a great set list. Just wish it was longer!
Everything at The Fillmore was Great! The opening band was good but Good Charlotte rocked the house out in Silver Spring! Beer was overpriced but no biggie
Ive been a huge fan of GC since 6th grade back when their first album came out. With them being back in their hometown they put on a fantastic show. It was like a dream come true! Hands down best night of my life!
Saw them at The Fillmore in Silver Springs, Maryland. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! They sang a variety of songs from their entire career. I always wanted to see them as a kid and I wasn’t allowed to, so as an adult it was something I always hoped to do! They were and still are a favorite of mine and they were just as amazing as we all thought they’d be. I think it’s safe to say everyone had an awesome time. In between songs they were cracking jokes and making us all feel at home. 10/10 would recommend seeing them live.

While things started off fairly rough for a few songs because almost none of the band’s mics were working (they had to redo a song completely since there were no vocals coming through), it eventually turned into an unforgettable passionate and jubilant hometown show ‘reunion’ that had the audience going crazy, dancing, and screaming every word from the top of their lungs - best show!
GC was awesome as always. Would have been 5 stars but there were some issues with the mic and we waited about 30 minutes for them to come to the stage.
Fun show as usual, but way too damn short. No encore or anything? And no explanation for why they ended at the early hours of 10:30 PM? Huh. Still, though, not a bad show at all.
What an incredible show. Made me feel like a teenager again!
