Greta Van Fleet in Concert
In three years, Greta Van Fleet went from touring the grimy rock bars of Detroit and Saginaw to headlining shows on five continents with audiences triple their hometown’s population. The band that once attracted crowds of teens to improvised forest concerts, have now sold over one million tickets worldwide. Stadiums in Italy are a far cry from a field strewn with pick-up trucks, framed by the canopy of tall coniferous trees, where they learned to love an audience. Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater is a world away from the tiny Midwestern bars where they got their start (before they were even of legal drinking age). From Frankenmuth to a tour bus across America, then their first ever flight to Europe, their newest album The Battle at Garden’s Gate, released April 16, 2021, is a reflection of their journey into the present.
So many have been positioned as the future, we’ve forgotten how to recognize the real thing. Expectations may run high, but Greta Van Fleet is indifferent to opinion. The band doesn’t have to say a certain thing or act a certain way to convince anyone of their capacity. All they have to do is play.
This counts as the 6th time I’ve seen this band and they blow my mind everytime. Their shows feel like home!!
The staff was very friendly and the venue was very clean.
Greta Van Fleet absolutely blew me away with their music, stage presence, and lovely interactions with audience members. Their recorded music is impressive but somehow it doesn’t even come close to their live performances, they are truly talented musicians. They also took the time to make sure everyone was safe and got the most out of their experience. I was also pleasantly surprised with all of the venue workers that made merch shopping, seat finding, and entering the venue very efficient as well as a good experience. Overall I’m super happy with the band as well as the venue and workers that made it happen!
Would love to see GFV again!!! Saw them open for Metallica and been a fan ever since
This was my first time seeing them live and it was the single greatest, most immersive musical experience I've ever had. Josh Kiszka’s vocal range is real and true. The crowd interaction was authentic, the pyrotechnics were perfectly timed, & the music was preformed with a familiar vibe to the studio versions, but with a fun interesting twist for the live show that kept the crowds energy up for 2+ hours. 10/10 WOULD recommend!
It was THE MOST mind blowing experience…I need Josh (I know he’s ✨) on a molecular level…THE TALENT was insane!! Every band member is absurdly talented and it was such a fun time! So happy I got to go and experience it.
been to 3 shows already and dare i say this was the best one 🤭 I LOVE GVF ‼️‼️‼️
I've been to a few concerts but this was by far the best concert I have ever been to. You could tell that they really cared about their audience and wanted everyone to have a good time. They had an amazing stage presence and never lost energy. Absolutely worth the money!
Greta sounded amazing, nearly identical to the fidelity of the studio albums! Show was an entertaining spectacle with great pyrotechnics and lights. The second opener, however, left a lot to be desired.
When we arrived at the area we had valet parking but the police officers forced us to go to general parking we showed him our parking pass but he told us that you guys go the way he pointed very dissatisfied 🤨
