About

In Flames represent the best of metal's past, present, and future. In Flames are as vital and even more energized today than when they unleashed classics like Come Clarity and Clayman in decades past.

The band built a stunning reputation with devastating, crowd-moving, inspired performances around the world at every major rock and metal festival imaginable, headlining multiple treks, and touring with the likes of Slipknot, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Killswitch Engage, Within Temptation, and Lamb Of God. They regularly headline some of the biggest stages and festivals in the world.

Foregone, the furious fourteenth studio album, combines the greatest aggressive, metallic, and melodic strengths of their landmark records with the seasoned songwriting of their postmodern era.

The melodic guitars, crushing riffs, and high-speed tempos that define much of the In Flames catalog first crystalized on their second album, The Jester Race (1996), complete with hints of the catchy choruses to come. Whoracle (1997) is the rawest and arguably heaviest In Flames album from the 90s. Metal Hammer declared melodeath masterpiece Colony (1999) "an undisputed fireball of an album."

Clayman (2000) introduced synths and more prominent clean vocals, without sacrificing the band's intensity. Reroute to Remain (2002) took the groove element further. Soundtrack to Your Escape (2004) expanded the rock bombast. Come Clarity (2006) is a perfect metalcore slab. A Sense of Purpose (2008) delivered some of the band's best and most eclectic songs. The gothic groove metal of Sounds of a Playground Fading (2011) paved the way for the unapologetic Active Rock hooks of Siren Charms (2014) and Battles (2016). Fans of the aggressive side of In Flames praised I, the Mask (2019). Foregone masterfully, if improbably, manages to serve all sides of the In Flames fanbase, with powerful force.

A sense of pride, accomplishment, and continued vitality are evident every time the band takes the stage, and all over Foregone. Melodic death metal pioneers and innovative purveyors of groove, the artistry, influence, stature, and future of In Flames loom as large as the heavy metal horizon itself.

  • IN flames was insane

Awesome swedish heavy metal band full of energy and great vibes.

  • In Flames

by Ron on 5/27/24Emo's Austin - AustinRating: 4 out of 5

Good show, sounded great and the cover to get on was reasonable. The venue is just OK. No place to park and so spent 30 min looking and missed the opener. No food options and beer was almost $20 after tax and a small tip. Bathrooms too small, 4 urinals for a capacity of a couple thousand people. But outside of these inconveniences it was over all a good night.

In Flames was awesome Live. The recordings of their songs don't even compare to the live experience

  • Stellar

by MES on 5/27/24Emo's Austin - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Pretty amazing performance overall, my only gripe being they need to let these bands play longer. Other than that amazing!

  • Great Show

by Hollz on 5/27/24Emo's Austin - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

In Flames was amazing and so were both openers. Only complaint is that the parking at Emo's is garbage.

  • Electrifying

by Jon Michael on 5/24/24Saint Andrew's Hall - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I had seen In Flames. In the past 22 years I've been to more concerts than I can count, five concerts in the past 2 months alone. When In Flames took the stage at St Andrew's that place just became electric. I have never felt an energy anything like that at any show I have ever been to. I've been to some shows in the past where you feel the goosebumps and you feel the emotion but this was an entirely different experience, it was like the entire audience was one unified being. Afterwards, I had met numerous members from the band and each and every one of them was as genuine as could be. I will definitely see them again and I would recommend them to absolutely any person whether they know the bands music or not. Thank you guys for the memories and the incredible experience!

  • They never disappoint!

by Isai on 5/23/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen them twice, and they never disappoint! They somehow always sound either as good, or better, than the studio version!

  • Need more stars

10/10! AMAZING! They are absolutely incredible live, and I can't wait to see them again.

  • In Flames we trust! 🤘🏼🔥

by Jester on 5/16/24VBC Mars Music Hall - HuntsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

In my opinion there is no better band! There are allot that I love but these guys are my number one! Can’t say enough good things about the experience. I really hope they make it back to this venue.

  • Only disappointment

by Sandi on 5/12/24Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

We loved the show only disappointment was we were never told the meet and greet time and missed meeting the band. The tickets all stated doors open at 6pm and concert at 7pm. Meet and greet was at 5pm and we were never notified. Missed a once in a lifetime experience due to miscommunication.

  • Iconic amazing musicians

by Basboosa on 5/11/24Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

What a great group of musicians. No question how much they love what they do and it shows. You can see them each grooving to the music and the sound was amazing. I was fortunate to meet them at a meet and greet and they were great down to earth people. It was one of the best live shows I’ve been too. I love they came to a smaller venue. Last time I was in a coliseum and you don’t get the passion you can see when up close. Vocals and performance was on point. It was a great concert. Only down side is they didn’t have any of the tour shirts. They ran out before coming here and no chance to get any. Also wish they had their new gin brand and hot sauce available.

  • In Flames Piedmont Hall GBO

by TheeBiggLoud on 5/11/24Piedmont Hall - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, Excellent openers. Creeping Death ! got a new fan. In Flames , Killer light show ! ..and they played a good mix of their catalog. Some older deep cuts I didn't expect. Good times. Piedmont Hall is a top notch facility. From the staff to security. They welcome you and make sure the facility is clean and provide excellent services from parking to beverage and food. Always enjoy going there. They gave me free tickets to the next days concert Steel Panther. A date night for us older folk and again a excellent experience.

  • In Flames

In Flames was great! After all these years and these guys still bring it.

  • Drums, Bass, Lights and Action

by First time Metal on 5/10/24The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

Openers were great energy, unique talent and style. Creeping Death impressed, Gate Creepers had great bass, and the venue was a great size to accommodate. In Flames gave an inspired show with old and new sounds showcasing the experience of showmanship. I think they maybe wanted more energy from the crowd, Charleston should definitely show up for their next tour and not be so shy!

  • Great Birthday Experience!

by JP on 5/10/24The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonRating: 5 out of 5

In Flames has been my favorite band for many years now. Living in Charleston, SC, the Metal scene isn't as big in other markets. So whenever a band of note comes to town, I make sure I get tickets right away. It was my first time at this venue, but I loved it.

  • Amazing
