Awesome concert. My wife and I had a great time. Concerts like these take me back to our youth.
We LOVED and will see them every time they are there
Great band! They open the concert with a series of 80s movie clips which built up great energy in the crowd. What a wide variety of talent and music - they didn’t take a single break and kept everyone on their feet - we thoroughly enjoyed the concert at Penn’s Peak!
I see Jessie’s Girl every chance I get. They ALWAYS deliver with such high energy shows. I can’t wait to see them perform again😃😃😃
I saw them years ago and they were funny. This time it just wasn't that great. We all left early. Other people seemed to be enjoying it. Off our list now.
Wanted to see this show with Jessie's Girl for awhile. Missed them at the Capitol Theatre in Stamford earlier in the year but as fate would have it, they were back at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, CT. It was well worth the wait. The performers were really into their act, the music choice was great and it really did take me back to the best decade IMO of music. The multiple costume changes added to the Back to the Future (past) experience. Only "downside"was there was just so much awesome music to pick from so some inevitable favorites didn't make it to the playlist. As I am no longer a spring chicken, I could have still gone several more hours with this act and music. A blast!
This was the first time I saw this band. I went with high school friends and we all enjoyed the familiar 80s music. We danced the entire show. The band played continuously for 2 hours. A lot of bright colors, energy and quality music on the stage.
The music echoed, the sound seemed off. They tried too hard to emulate the stars of the 80's
I would love to see them again if they come back to my area! Great show and song choices with a little comedy thrown in...they really bring you back!
The venue would not great for this type of show. People want to dance to the music and you are not allowed to dance in the isle. This type of show needs an open forum. The set list could use improvement. I have seen this show before and they had better songs.
The musicians were great and brought the energy. Each song provided the sound and visual depiction of many favorite 80's hits. With three main singers and backups you can appreciate the range and talent of the 80's artists.
Seats were great. Show was awesome. Brought me back to my childhood. Would definitely see again. Parking was convenient and was able to get out without an issue. Venue drinks were good but pricey.
Jesse's Girl Back to the 80s night at Toyota Oakdale Theater was a blast. Non-stop singing to every song at the top of my lungs and dancing like a "Maniac". It was a great time and very fun. Costume changes and audience sing along really brought the energy and made the night magical. My 19 year old son, who I have brought up right to love everything 80's, was just as horse as I was at the end of the night. A really great time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The band was incredible. Felt like HS All over again
The band was great, high energy, but like every concert, the soundboard had the mix way too loud on the bass and drums, so that the vocals and guitar were buried. I realize it's that way at every show, but it ruins the experience, having to sit through the whole show with earplugs is no fun. I don't know why bands and promoters don't get the hint after 50 years of doing concerts that people want to hear the vocals and guitar more than the booming base and drum, which don't need any help.
Loved the music and performances. Musicians and singers were entertaining and kept people on their feet all night long
My wife and I had a wonderful time revisiting the decade in which we grew up - DJ Keith was great (maybe a little less techno) and the band was entertaining and varied the decade of music from which to choose
Jessie’s Girl was so much fun! Entertaining and talented musicians! I sang and danced the entire night!!
Fantastic show, could be a Broadway play. Beyond talented, from the singers to the musicians. This show had it all.
