I have seen Jon B. Several times now and I am never disappointed! The first time I got to dance with him and Saturday got to hold his hand. His music will forever be a staple in house! A true living lengend!! Go see him.… it will change your life! :)
The man is good, energetic and soulful. great performance.
Jon B show was amazing I had a good tine. It was my first time seeing him and it was my birthday gift to me.
I was really eager to see Jon B and H-Town and while both put on great performances, I was really disappointed in the sound system during Jon.B’s performance. The audio drowned out his vocals, they were so loud to the point I could hardly hear him or his background singer during the show. They pushed through with grace but I will say I would’ve loved if that issue was resolved during the show so I could’ve really really gotten the full experience. But nonetheless the show was really entertaining and an overall good experience.
The venue was nice. It was my first time there. It would’ve been better if there was food to eat to go with the drinks. Parking was also crazy and getting to the right side of the building was not easy. The venue should have been listed as The Black Academy of Arts and Letters instead of the Bruton Theatre because it’s not easy to find on Google maps or Apple maps. We parked on the opposite side and had to walk all the way around because the location was not correct. The concert was great, but food and parking could have been better.
I'm already a Jon B. fan, but this concert took my admiration for him to another level. I've been having his songs on repeat since I left the concert and I'd recommend anyone who's contemplating attending to do it! H-town did their thing too. The shout out to Dino and Hi-Five's lead singer was touching.
Jon B was not a disappointment. This man did his thang and I was all for it. I really enjoyed myself and he was fantastic. I have been waiting a long time to see him, and he was worth the wait!! Don’t sleep on Jon B. He sounded amazing!!!
Let me tell you, Jon B. And H-Town still got it! Sounded as though they walked out of the 90s. The original choreography (H-Town) the suave sexiness (Jon B.), I’m only 28 but grew up on this type of music. I’m so happy to have purchased a ticket to see these legends while they were in Texas. Jon B. is a cemented artist, and his vocal skills have not decayed in the decades since his debut. H-Town are keeping Dino’s memory alive and well, singing and crooning to the ladies as is their want. Amazing concert, and if Jon B. is ever back in Texas, I’ll definitely buy some seats even closer to the stage, thats my man. H-Town will always be welcomed in Texas and I hope to see another performance from them too.
I loved every minute of watching Jon B, his voice is amazing and sounded like I was listening to his CD. He sang the majority if not all of his songs. He did not disappoint. I could listen to him all day! So glad I went and was able to witness a classic in person. Can’t wait to see him perform again ❤️
