Kublai Khan TX are a metalcore band from Sherman, Texas. Frontman Matt Honeycutt, guitarist Nolan Ashley, bassist Eric English and drummer Isaac Lamb came together in 2009 and independently released their debut EP, Youth War, in 2010. Four full-length albums have followed: 2014’s Balancing Survival and Happiness, 2015’s New Strength, 2017’s Nomad and 2019’s Absolute. The band’s most recent EP, Lowest Form of Animal, was released in 2022.

    Lionheart, Pain of Truth, Justice for the Damned, Harms Way, KUBLAI KHAN TX. I couldn’t have watched a better lineup. The moment you are within two yards from the booth you’re staring at the back of heads if you’re not claiming a spot up top early on in the show.
