  • These Dogs Still Hunt!

by PBoomer on 8/21/24Sweetwater Performance Pavilion - Fort WayneRating: 5 out of 5

Holy cow! Living Colour brought their “A game” in Ft Wayne! I’ve been to hundreds of concerts since the late seventies, so I’ve got plenty of reference points to judge a killer rock concert. The members of Living Colour must be pretty close to my age but they played, sang, and moved like they were half my age. Corey Glover still has that incredible range and power in his voice. Vernon Reid is the bluesy shredder with feel he has always been. Doug Wimbish and Will Calhoun have to be one of the most formidable rhythm sections since Jones and Bonham in Zeppelin. The chemistry between these four guys is the type you only see with musicians that have been playing together for decades. I’ve been a fan of these guys since the late eighties so I knew my son and I were in for a treat, but this concert far exceeded even my expectations! Living Colour gave 101%, with tons of power, musicianship, soul, and surprises! These guys still got it and then some!

  • Great Band, sound was not always great

by Marco on 8/19/24Sweetwater Performance Pavilion - Fort WayneRating: 4 out of 5

Living Colour was great! Incredible musicians and lead vocalist who has to be heard to be believed. That was part of the problem, especially during the first two or three songs especially it was like whoever was in charge of sound just said: "lets turn everything up to 11!"Everything had a kinda fuzzed out sound, because all the instruments seemed like they were trying their best to overwhelm the others and the biggest loser in all this was the vocal track. Luckily as the show went on they seemed to figure it out. Anway, love Living Colour, so glad I got to see them, a powerful sound with a powerful message.

  • Unbelievably great

I'm ashamed to admit this was the first time I saw Living Colour live. I had no idea of the funk on steroids that was coming my way. I will not miss them again.

Living Colour killed it live. They were amazing. Go see them and you won't be disappointed. They are all better than ever musicians, such a power house. Corey's voice is still amazing.

  • Young People Are Missing Out

by Hazeliiis on 8/15/24Rating: 5 out of 5

My husband took my two sons to see this show at Sweetwater Sound. My husband is 53, my oldest son is 28, and my youngest is 21. ALL THREE came home high on music and swearing this is THE BEST LIVE BAND they have ever seen or WILL EVER SEE. They were stunned that it was wasted on "old people."If you're remotely interested in going, make a point of it. I believe we're going to be hitting the road to catch Michigan and Ohio shows. It's THAT good. Just wanted to let you know!
