I didn’t know about them when my stepdad got tickets for us, and now I love them so much I’ll definitely be going to more shows in the future
Great, Amazon, worth it! Easily one of my most favorite shows of all time!
The band themselves, as well as opener Crystal Ghost, were fantastic and blew the (unfortunately underwhelming) crowd away. Their theatrical performance and tongue-in-cheek antics delighted, the venue however needs to step a few things up. A fantastic space with great design, decor and lighting, a good stage setup and that cool retractable ceiling, 172 has all the makings of a great mid-sized bar venue. Their staff was attentive, but the door seemed unorganized and stressed even with such a small crowd. The biggest downfall however was the menu, pushing ridiculously overpriced sushi and tapas to a bar crowd much more likely to pony up for a burger or some nachos. Great show, but I’ll definitely be eating ahead of time for any future shows at that location.
Venue parking sucked. Had to walk thru all the smokers out front. Younger crowd. The magic sword was super cool. My kid loves that band. If you get a chance to see them live check it out.. fun stuff.. coolest music and the way they perform is bada&&... check them out
Magic Sword puts on a really great live show. The band performs with masks and costumes and they have a giant LED sword that they bust out from time to time. Audience was definitely into it because they had swords of their own. Would surely see again!
