Maya Jane Coles Tickets

Maya Jane Coles is an amazing artist. Her music is unique, well produced and impressively dynamic. So, what's up with her live shows? I was so excited to see her at the Gothic in Denver. But, what I heard was monotonous boom, boom, boom. She sounded like every other EDM DJ out there. Several times, she even allowed awkward beat tracks to drone on between mixes. I would have expected her to be the best DJ I'd ever experienced. She was not! Plus, I didn't pay for an MJC show to get nothing but dance tracks. I can go to a club for that. Her show was danceable and she's definitely a pro at driving a beat. It's just too bad her performance lacked any sign of the talent that made her famous.
