MercyMe has been releasing hits in the Christian rock genre since 2001, when "I Can Only Imagine" caught the attention of the public and became the most requested song on a mainstream station in Texas. Despite the band's success on conventional radio stations, the majority of ticket buyers expect MercyMe's concert tours to be religion oriented, and they are not disappointed. Fans who attended the Rock & Worship Roadshow in 2013 described the tour as uplifting and filled with spiritual hits that included "Word of God Speak,” “All of Creation” and "You Don’t Care At All." The latter song is from the 2012 album The Hurt & the Healer, which reached No. 1 on the Christian Albums Billboard chart.
Millard formed MercyMe with Jim Bryson and Mike Scheuchzer in Oklahoma, and after releasing independently, MercyMe signed with INO Records in 2001. Their first album earned the 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA after "I Can Only Imagine" won two Dove Awards. On 2002's Spoken For, which peaked at No. 2 on the Christian Albums chart, the title track was the most successful. 2004's Undone brought with it hits like "Here with Me," "Homesick" and "In the Blink of an Eye." 2006's Coming Up to Breathe was nominated for a Grammy, due to hit singles like "Bring the Rain," "So Long Self" and "Hold Fast." All That Is Within Me was released in 2007, with "God With Us" reaching No. 1 on the Christian Songs Billboard chart. 2010 saw the release of The Generous Mr. Lovewell, while 2012's The Hurt & The Healer featured "You Are I Am" and the title track as the most popular songs. MercyMe has plans to continue its tour for The Hurt & the Healer album in 2014.

MercyMe and Zach Williams use their God-given talent to lead all of us in worship to the Lord! Sam Wesley was a surprising treat! He also uses his talent to lead worship to the Lord and is a beautiful testimony for his dad, Bart Millard, of MercyMe!
Zach Williams was good. Other group is getting better. Mercy Me always good.
I've seen Mercy Me many times. They were one of the first Christian concerts I ever attended and I've been a fan of Christian music ever since. It was neat that he had his son open for him, although he was not a favorite for me. Zach Williams was terrific and full of energy to get the crowd ready for the main event. As always, Mercy Me delivered the quality that I'm used to. If you've never tried out a Christian concert before--definitely choose Mercy Me as your first. You won't be disappointed and will wonder what you've been missing all of these years. (I think they've been performing for over 20 years!)
It was the most euphoric experience of my life I would definitely do it again
I love Mercy Me. One of the best concerts I have ever been to.
MercyMe never disappoints! They were energetic, inspiring and an absolute blessing!!! Sam and Zach were also amazing! You could feel the power of God throughout the entire arena! The whole night was truly magical! We had great seats and the arena staff was so serving! Happy Dance!!!
Such a great concer!!! Mercy Me was absolutely amazing!!! Loved Zack Williams! Not to mention Sam!!! The graphics were so good for everyone!! Just an all around amazing show!!!!
These guys are fantastic, wonderful, awesome! I would definitely go see them again! Hopefully they’ll come back to Michigan again!
I really felt that Bart was doing something he believed in and enjoyed. I don't feel it was just for the money it was for the message he gives. I know that it has made a huge difference in my life having seen his sincerity of his conviction! Made me look at myself deeply!
