The only issue I had was all the mud around the stadium.

About
Miami Hurricanes Football History
The Miami Hurricanes are a college football powerhouse with five national championships, nine conference titles and over 40 bowl game appearances, including six high-profile Orange Bowl wins. Founded in 1926, the Miami Hurricanes were independent for much of their existence until the team joined the Big East in 1991. Since 2004, Miami has been a part of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Hurricanes rosters have featured future Pro Football Hall of Famers such as quarterback Jim Kelly, wide receivers Michael Irvin and Andre Johnson, center Jim Otto, safety Ed Reed, linebacker Ray Lewis and defensive tackles Warren Sapp and Cortez Kennedy. Miami has also fielded two Heisman Trophy winners, quarterbacks Vinny Testaverde in 1986 and Gino Torretta in 1992. Several of Miami's most winning head coaches, including Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson, went on to coach in the NFL.
The Hurricanes have played in several of college football's greatest games. On New Year's Day 1984, Miami cemented its first of five national championships by defeating the heavily favored Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Orange Bowl. The team secured their second national title in 1987 with an undefeated season that culminated in the Hurricanes dominating the Oklahoma Sooners in the Orange Bowl. In November 1991, Miami won the “Wide Right I” game against Florida State after the Seminoles' kicker missed a game-winning field goal and advanced to the Orange Bowl, where they shut out the Cornhuskers.
The Hurricanes have in-state rivalries with the University of Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles as well as heated intra-division opposition from Virginia Tech. The feud between Miami and Florida State, which dates back to 1951, has been particularly fierce since the ’80s, as the two teams have taken turns spoiling each other's championship aspirations. During seasons when all three Florida teams play against one another, the squad with the most wins takes home the Florida Cup.

Awesome game for an Alumni and U fan!!!!
by Anonymous on 12/30/14Independence Stadium - ShreveportRating: 4 out of 5Minus the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole game experience! The fans on the Miami side were like family and it was such a fantastic atmosphere. We would so do it again, only with a little more preparation for the weather. Wish I had the opportunity to see more games.

by DuckDuckDuckGOOSE on 12/30/14Independence Stadium - ShreveportRating: 4 out of 5Always NASTY weather at the Independence Bowl. Geese were flying over as the COLD was blowing in. It was good to see Ball Coach win. Thanks to the City of Shreveport for a pleasant day. Keep up the good work hosting Duck Commander Crew. See y'all next year! Louisiana SEC Fans
Disappointed
by Anonymous on 12/30/14Independence Stadium - ShreveportRating: 1 out of 5Had to walk thru mud and water to get to stadium. Left at halftime because of the feet being wet and cold. Bad seats. Raining. Took our umbrellas from us. Activities outside stadium were fun. People were nice. But bang for dollar. Just wasn't there.
Not a great game but fun.
by Sergio77 on 12/30/14Independence Stadium - ShreveportRating: 3 out of 5As a Canes fan I'm used to walking far for parking. The blue lot is pretty far especially when its rainy and cold. But the tailgating area setup for the bowl was fun. Lots of booths and things to buy or browse. Game staff was nice and courteous. No smoking in stadium but they give u a wristband which allows u to exit and return. Stadium is easy to navigate with gates all posted throughout. Concessions were quick but I'm sure low attendance helped. Bowl committee really tried to dress up the old stadium and it was passable. Overall was a good experience.
First bowl game I've been to
by Animalduck on 12/30/14Independence Stadium - ShreveportRating: 5 out of 5My first bowl game that I've been to and it was great . I bought my tickets on line. Game day we walked right up to the window with no waiting and no lines to get our ticket. Totally hassle free. Thanks Duck Commander for a GREAT event .

More fun being at the Game than home!
by polyglot12 on 11/2/14Miami Hurricanes football game vs North Carolina - Miami GardensRating: 4 out of 5It is a lot more fun being at the game than watching it on TV. All the aspects of the game like the band, cheerleaders, etc and of course being right there watching the plays is so much more enjoyable than TV. The only negative for us is that the scores of other games finished previously or going on simultaneously were never shown. True college football fans want to know about other games. Hurricane fans need to get out and support the team. High school football players who are being recruited by Miami may not want to commit to Miami when they see an empty stadium. On a nice day there is no better place to be than right at the game!

stadium lacking
by whatsmyface on 9/30/14Sun Life Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5Canes looked good. Always a fan-good or bad. Stadium lacking though-limited and poor food choices, large screen on field filled 50% with ads, and small screens in concession areas way too small. i am enjoying watching at home more and more.
I loved all the experience
by Taiguara on 9/18/14Sun Life Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5The event was great. Very well organized inside and outside. Great show and great people watching!

Soggy Seats for Sad Spectacle
by Persevere on 11/13/13Sun Life Stadium - MiamiRating: 4 out of 5Don't get me wrong… The seats were GREAT! It's just that Miami lost in an upset and it rained the entire game. Kinda put a "wet blanket" over the affair. However, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The fix were easy to get and the process was stress-free.
GREAT GAME
by DKMFootballfan on 11/12/13Sun Life Stadium - MiamiRating: 5 out of 5Very well played! All the bounces went the right way. The best team won.
