  • WOW!!! (exploding head emoji)

Wow, what did I think of Microwave performing Stovall cover to cover at the Tabernacle in Atlanta? Well now, that's a loaded question... Was it worth flying all the way from Colorado for? Was it held in an ornate and totally awesome old venue? Did they get the entire crowd hyped and synchronistically vibing? Did they play a second set consisting entirely of bangers? Was it incredibly cathartic at a time of much fear and uncertainty in many of our lives? Was it one of my top five live music experiences ever? I realize you didn’t ask me any of these questions but my answer to all is an unqualified YES! Thank you, Microwave (and Free Throw and Prawn) for the night we didn't know just how much we needed and that we will not soon forget...much love to you all! (heart hands emoji)

  • Best Microwave show

by Jaco on 2/18/25Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The tabernacle was packed and everyone was having a great time. Microwave sounded so good and played all of Stovall plus so many other hits. Free throw was great too had the whole crowd pumped. Prawn was amazing and I can’t believe that was the only show they’ll play this year. Overall an amazing show

  • Amazing show!

by Aaron on 5/29/24The Van Buren - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

The whole concert was incredible, every band brought an electric energy to the show. Was there to see Origami Angel, who were phenomenal on stage and seemed very down-to-Earth during intermissions. All the other bands were new to me, and each one earned a new fan, especially Heart Attack Man! If I could see this show again, I would in a heartbeat.

Amazing concert with 3 amazing starting bands and microwave was also great of course. Moshpits were sick but also still safe and the crowd and venue had great energy!

  • Odd mixing, but great show.

With Let's Start Degeneracy, there are a lot of intricate synth and piano parts that were lost behind a bit of the guitar drone. Perhaps it was just my venue, but most of the new songs didnt work very well live because of this, which is a real shame. Lead vocals were also a bit too quiet, again coming in second to the guitars. Otherwise, great concert. Really looking forward to see Microvave float on through again.

  • Amazing

by Hunter on 5/26/24Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Definitely the best concert I've ever been to, only issue is every single one of my friends that went into the most pit got injured due to bad fellow concert goers that didn't know how to be careful with their elbows.

  • Origami Angel!

by JZR on 5/25/24Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was a blast. Carpool Tunnel was a nice chill indie vibe as an opener. Heart Attack Man really got the energy going and the pit started with their first song and only went harder throughout the set. Origami Angel was the highlight of the show. They absolutely ripped. The mosh pit was completely insane and it was so fun. I don't know how they put on such a show with just two guys on a stage but it was incredible. Microwave was also very good. The energy during their set wasn't as hype as for Heart Attack Man or Origami Angel, but that's mostly because the band is transitioning into more chill songs with their newer music. Overall, the show was fantastic and a great experience.
