  • A Real Good Old School Celebration!

by Dee Dee on 7/8/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, the show was amazing. Started exactly on time. The venue had some issues with the sound but they ironed those out pretty quickly. Glenn Jones performed first, and he sang his greatest hits such as "We've Only Just Begun"and "I've Been Searching"; his live vocals are still on point. He was complaining about this Georgia heat! Lol! Miki Howard came on second. Her performance was cut short without an explanation, and this is why I'm not rating this concert a 5. I really wanted to hear her sing "Come Share My Love"and "Love Under New Management"which are by far her most popular hits. SOS Band came on third. The original member Mrs. Davis didn't perform but the singers who filled in for her were phenomenal. Everybody was up dancing by the end of their performance. Midnight Star performed last and they turned it out! All original members of Midnight Star are still together. They gave an outstanding performance; they did not disappoint!

  • Microphones had issues

by Taylor on 7/3/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 3 out of 5

Glen Jones opened nicely. Miki Howard and band did only perform 4 songs and left angry. SOS Band was the best band. Midnight Star had to power outage causing restart of performance.

  • I stayed on my feet!

  • Terrible, the sound system was of poor quality

by Bad production on 7/3/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 1 out of 5

The show was terrible, the musicians gathered their equipment and left, the one entertainer kept bringing people from the audience on stage to sing her song, and last the sound system was of poor quality, I will never attend another show produced by this promoter.

  • Energetic, Mind Blowing and Great Music

by Chris P. on 7/2/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 5 out of 5

You can't go wrong with Old School R&B music (60's, 70's and 80's). The band never missed a beat. There was a lot of singing and dancing with the person next to you. It was very hard to just sit down the music put you up on your feet. The music sounded as if they were playing vinyl on the stage. If they come to your city don't make the mistake and miss this show.

  • HORRIBLE

by shawn on 7/2/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 1 out of 5

this show was HORRIBLE glen jones and miki howard had no back up singers and miki even walked off and only sang 2 songs telling us how cheap the promoters were and refused to sing! sos band had to leave stage and come back because of sound issues

  • Just so so

by Gena Yve on 7/2/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 4 out of 5

Not certain Ticketmaster has anything to do with sound quality of ALL the artist on this show or responsible for why the band packed up while Miki Howard was performing but you can do a better job of explaining free parking vs paid parking. Mable House has free parking and the last time I attended event I paid for parking and did not need, this time I did not pay for parking and needed to as the free parking lot filled up and was blocked off by police. In future it is helpful if you would indicate the difference and provide direction to the paid parking lot!

  • REAL MUSICIANS SHOW HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE

by DwCiti on 7/2/24Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre - MabletonRating: 4 out of 5

Midnight Star 🌟Showed OUT❗️❗️❗️. Although the Venue ‘s sound system failed, this group remained calm, professional and allowed their natural talent (Bass - Vocal - Keyboard) to come out. My view allowed me to see the entire amphitheater and all the fans. Crowd - Sold Out…..Energy of group and fans….Unbelievable. Fans remained- despite the Snafu. Please 🙏🏽 bring this group back to Mableton. The Energy - Was like Electricity ⚡️. The Grown Folks was on their feet to then end - swaying to A Slow Jam 💃🏽..They did not let the evening Rock The Boat 🛶. We hope this group comes back again to Mableton….This time Making It Sweet with the Mableton Mayor Proclaiming it Midnight Star 🌟 Day and inviting local talent and fans to show this group their appreciation for making good music 🎶 🎼 🎵 and being that positive influence in the music industry ❗️❗️❗️
