Founded in 1961, the Minnesota Vikings have won 21 division championships, made 31 playoff appearances and played in four Super Bowl games (1970, 1974, 1975, and 1977). The team's 31 playoff appearances are the sixth-most among NFL teams. The Vikings had the top-ranked defense team in the league from 2006 to 2008 and were the first NFL team since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger that held it for three consecutive years.

    Awesome venue, its a must see stadium. Get there early to enjoy the outdoor tailgating area. Plenty to do for entire family. Once inside the stadium enjoy, plenty of gift shops and food/beverage options.
