About

Mumford & Sons have catapulted to stardom with their captivating mix of bluegrass, country and rock, enchanting audiences with their soaring harmonies and catchy pop melodies. The English folk rock band’s second album Babel was released in September 2012, debuted at No. 1 in the U.K. and U.S. with the hit single “I Will Wait.” The album also took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and in 2013 the band won the Brit Award for Best British Group. The band consists of Ted Dwane on vocals, string bass, drums, and guitar; Ben Lovett on vocals, keyboards, accordion, and drums; and Marcus Mumford on lead vocals, guitar, drums, and mandolin. They formed in late 2007 in West London, and put out two EPs in 2008, Love Your Ground and a self-titled effort. Those EPs garnered interest in the U.K. and the U.S. and led to opening slots on tour with Laura Marling and Johnny Flynn. Mumford & Sons’ debut studio album, Sigh No More, was released in late 2009 in the UK and early 2010 in the U.S., peaking at No. 2 on both the U.K. Albums and Billboard 200 charts. The album sold over three million copies in the U.S. alone on the strength of hit singles “The Cave,” “Little Lion Man” and “Winter Winds.” They also earned two Grammy Award nominations, one for Best New Artist and the other for Best Rock Song for “Little Lion Man,” and won the Brit Award in 2011 for Best British Album. A worldwide headlining tour followed with the likes of Fanfarlo and The Middle East. Mumford & Sons released their fifth studio album Rushmere on March 28, 2025, and will support it with their 2025 North American Tour that kicks off in June.

  • Awsome!!!

by Happy Couple on 4/3/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best shows my wife and I have ever been to. Mumford & Sons is incredible to begin with, couple that with this amazing, intimate venue and it was absolutely electric!

  • Best show ever!

by Karen on 4/3/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best Mumford and Sons concert that I have ever been to. From the amazing venue to the excellent sound, this was an incredible experience. So happy to have the lads back from a 5 year hiatus, they are refreshed and sound better than ever!

  • Amazing concert

by Okeegirl on 3/29/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

The musicians and the music were magnificent! The venue was one the most beautiful we have ever been to! We came from Oklahoma to New York to go to this concert. The only issue we had was the rudeness of so many people in a packed standing room only venue. We have been to plenty of these kinds of concerts, but it seems as time goes by, people become less thoughtful and well-mannered and ruin some of the experience for others. Other than that, a wonderful night of great music!!

  • Unforgettable

by Jen on 3/29/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

I have now seen Mumford & Sons a few times live, and they just keep getting better every show. They were absolutely incredible and the venue was awesome.

  • Beyond!!

by SJP on 3/29/25Brooklyn Paramount - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Mumford and Sons at the Brooklyn Paramount was incredible. Gorgeous venue, perfect sized crowd to hear new and old songs. The sound of fast paced banjo and drums to acoustic heartfelt lyrics, could not have been better. Would drive the 7 hours from Montreal anytime to see them there again. Next stop Red Rocks and Berkley.

Great show. Great venue. Great all around experience. Have seen Mumford and sons multiple times now, and this show ranks up there with the best of them.

  • Mumford and Sons at Chicago Theater

by Bgenner on 3/27/25The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Just FANtastic!! The band is just awesome with command of the audience enough to quiet everyone enough in a big auditorium to play several songs with no amplification both before and after the remainder of their phenomenal set. The "Tour before the Tour"only seen in a select number of cities (Worldwide) was something to treasure as a great memory. Everything was great.

  • WOWZERS!

First time seeing Mumford in concert and I couldn’t have been more pleased. They sounded beyond great and really connected with audience. Concert felt intimate… as though they were just playing for some friends. absolutely amazing. Cannot wait for their NEXT CONCERT. LOL…. the tour AFTER the tour before the tour!
