NEIL YOUNG IN CONCERT:

Singer-songwriter legend Neil Young thrilled fans in 2013 with the announcement of North American and European tour dates alongside his longtime collaborative band Crazy Horse. Among the highly-coveted 2014 dates are four nights at Carnegie Hall as well as a series of “Honor of Treaties” benefit concerts with Diana Krall to aid the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Legal Defense Fund.

Since the late '60s, Young has released over 35 studio albums, exploring such diverse genres  as country-folk, pop, noise, punk, and electronica. He’s best known, however, for his iconic folk rock songwriting, popularized by his hugely successful collaborations with Crazy Horse and supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Never content to rest on his laurels, Young has remained musically prolific and sonically experimental, earning rave reviews for his 2012 double-LP release Psychedelic Pill.

  • Double the price for half the show

    Been a Neil fan for decades. Saw him at the Cap last Sept. $550 for a 1.5 hr show. He just went through the motions. Seems he could not wait to get of the stage

    Amazing concert! I had 2nd row seats that were unfortunately on the opposite side of the stage from Neil but still such an extremely emotional unforgettable performance. Hope he comes back again soon!

    While I wished for a longer show from Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts what they gave in ninety minutes was more than many acts provide in two or three hours. The mellow tunes were memorable chestnuts but when it came to rocking, Neil and the Hearts got downright grungy capped by the finale "Throw Your Hatred Down."See him when you the chance.

    Neil Young was great, but the 80-minute show was way too short for the price. We paid roughly $24 PER SONG, and we were in the “cheap” seats. Those in better seats paid more than $50 per song. Hard to really enjoy a show when it costs you more than a month’s groceries.

    He wore a baseball cap which covered a good part of face so you couldn't really see him. He played very no "classics"such as Down By the River, Southern Man, My,My Hey,Hey, Cortez the Killer, Rockin in the Free World or from his first 4 or 5 solo albums. And that's not to mention Buffalo Springfield. Under the circumstances, an hour and a half show was enough,

    Neil Young slayed it & was awesome at Capitol Theater. Sound was exquisite & Neil rocked like it was 1975. I'm the Ocean, Home Grown, & Powder Finger were standouts! 🎸

    I thought the new band brought enthusiasm. Fine selection of songs. The Capitol Theater security was a little too thorough for my taste.

    Amazing show, lucky enough to hear the first ever hey babe in concert. Neil has not lost the fire. Great energy and intensity throughout!
