Hailing from the hippie-loving, beachfront town of Byron Bay, Australia, metalcore outfit Parkway Drive blasted out of their serene surroundings touting a volatile blend of intricate metal riffing, punishing breakdowns, and hardcore's emotional tension. Named after a rural countryside road, the band was formed in summer 2003 by vocalist Winston McCall, guitarists Luke Kilpatrick and Jeff Ling, drummer Ben Gordon, and bassist Jia O'Connor. The five-piece outfit split an EP with like-minded countrymen I Killed the Prom Queen that same year, and later appeared on the local hardcore compilation What We've Built. This activity preceded the May 2005 release of Parkway Drive's debut EP, Don't Close Your Eyes, on the Sydney-based Resist Records. Parkway Drive continued building a respected name for themselves in the Australian hardcore scene, often opening for Bleeding Through, Shadows Fall, Every Time I Die, Hatebreed, and other American bands who were touring abroad. When the time came to do something traveling of their own, Parkway Drive journeyed to Massachusetts to record their inaugural full-length with Killswitch Engage's Adam Dutkiewicz. Recorded over a two-week period in 2005, Killing with a Smile entered the Australian Independent Chart at number two upon its February 2006 release. The debut album sold extremely well across the country and later saw a North American release through Epitaph Records, which issued the album in August. For the band's sophomore effort, Parkway Drive again traveled to Massachusetts to reprise their successful partnership with producer Dutkiewicz. The metallic Horizons emerged from those recording sessions, and Epitaph released the record in October 2006. In 2010, the band came back with their third full-length effort, Deep Blue. ~ Corey Apar & Andrew Leahey, Rovi

Parkway Drive was Great. Recommend seeing them such High energy
It's PWD...the best metalcore band alive...if you haven't seen, you haven't lived!
Great time, great venue, great music!!! This place never disappoints. The sound quality is unbelievable and it leaves you feeling completely amazed!
If you’re wondering, “why the 2nd best? What’s her 1st best?” Well, the 1st best night of my life was last year when I met The Amity Affliction and I got their autographs to tattoo them on my arm. The Monsters of Oz tour was absolutely phenomenal!!! All the bands rocked!! It was my first time seeing Make Them Suffer, Northlane, & Parkway Drive. It was my second time seeing The Amity Affliction. I really wish they would’ve done VIP for this tour so that I could show them my arm with my finished tattoo of TAA in bones (a design by Ahren Stringer) & their autographs underneath. As sad as I am about the no VIP this time, I’ll be looking forward to their next tour with VIP options in Atlanta. I’m even willing to drive to a nearby state, lol. I love them so much, their music saved my life & continues to do so today. I’m also a big fan of Parkway Drive & their performance was incredible!! I knew as soon as I saw the circular cage drum set, that it was going to be epic. This was the 2nd best night of my life, you guys killed it!!! Thank you so much for such an awesome tour that we have all been waiting for!!! I love y’all!
Parkway is the best, seen them on smaller stages and they kill it. Now I see them on big stages with pyro and doing crazy antics. Love them
Absolutely amazing show! Had an great time and really enjoyed seeing these guys live after several years
This was my 3rd time seeing Parkway Drive. I drove 8 hours for this event and it was well worth the drive. Each show I’ve been to has been amazing. Definitely a show worth seeing.
When I heard them for the first time I knew I wanted to see the band live, just stepping on stage you can feel their energy. each song was felt even in the bones I hope see again
Parkway Drive always puts on a great show. Pyrotechnics and the spinning drum set were cool. Amity Affliction was awesome, one of the best live performances I've seen in a long time. Had not listened to the other 2 bands prior but I liked Make them suffer a lot. Overall a great show, lots of energy, lots of crowd participation, and there were dudes with banana costumes (plus an American eagle) in the pit, what more could you ask for.
They brought the already high energy, even higher for a great show.
Band was awesome, venue was awesome, and EP lounge staff always is great. My only complaint was half the people Infront we’re fast pass Lane peeps that jumped in the vip line and the staff knew and let them stay. Frustrating since they have a fast lane entry which they ignored
Parkway Drive puts on an amazing show. First time seeing the band and I was blown away by them. Cannot wait for them to come back!!
They put on an awesome show live. This band is way bigger than the House of Blues. Can’t wait until they come back!
This was my 2nd time seeing Parkway Drive. They are simply amazing. High energy, sounds true to their studio sound, and it’s visible that they love performing for a crowd that is into it. 5⭐️’s and will probably see them again if given the chance.
Awesome performance!!! Good music!! Fun night!!!!!
Currents mmf and parkway were all great as usually. Definitely recommend seeing them in person.
Everything was well setup, very clean, very organized. Bathrooms were really clean. Other than expensive drinks I can't complain! Bands were awesome! Can't wait to come back!
I have been a fan of Parkway Drive for a long time and any chance I can get to see them I take it even if I have to travel 3-6 hours. They are so amazing live I definitely recommend anyone who is a fan must see them.
Parkway Drive is what is the best bands to see live. Although they over sell this venue every time the band is amazing! Currents and Memphis May Fire were also amazing!
The whole lineup was solid. It was also obvious that the performers were enjoying themselves too. We've all been to shows where the acts talk about a crowd being great, but you can tell that it's kinda phoned in. Everyone on stage genuinely was having a good time. Parkway Drive brought their "A" game and put it all out there. Definetly hope to see them again.
