Philadelphia Eagles History
Founded in 1933, the Philadelphia Eagles are a National Football League franchise representing the NFC East Division. Led by Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie, the Eagles have appeared in five Super Bowls — capturing the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl LII and Super Bowl LIX — won three NFL Championships, six Conference championships and feature 17 Pro Football Hall of Famers.
The Eagles made their fifth appearance in the championship game for Super Bowl LIX in 2025 where they defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22. Philadelphia was led by Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, who went 17-of-22 for 293 total yards and three total TDs.

It received a LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council and an ISO 2021 accreditation in 2018 for its ongoing sustainability efforts. The venue's 10,456 solar panels enable the team to operate on 100 percent clean energy, making it one of the greenest major sports facilities in the world.
