Champion rodeo cowboys and cowgirls from 12 circuits across the country will compete at the RNCFR in four go-rounds, including a sudden-death competition in the final round, making for exciting challenges for the athletes and thrilling entertainment that will keep fans on the edge of their seat. Coast to coast, and from all over, these ropers and riders bring the techniques of daily work to artful from in feats of strength and skill. About half of Florida's agricultural land is in cattle production, so local talent showed up for sure and often did well. The Circuit system which leads to the Nationals produces representation from many states. The crowd dons Western wear in genuine and appropriated form, which makes for a degree of people-watching. But the equestrian side, cowboy life and history, the bull riding with the rodeo clowns, are what make for a great multi-day event.
I’m from Montana we enjoy rodeos. Great event surprised on poor attendance are whole state has less people than a fifty mile radius. The affordable pricing and free student tickets and being spring break. A lot of people missed a great opportunity.
I take friends and family to this rodeo every year. The venue is comfortable, there are a number of snack stands (from hot dogs to Caesar salads) , and more importantly, the contestants are talented, which means it's an exciting show. Recommendation: Try to get seats that are in the middle of the side as you are entering the venue and at least 5 rows from the floor (lower rows have railings that block your view if you are short like me). That puts you directly across from the bare-back and bull-riding shoots (most of the action is right there) and on the end where the roping events take place.
Super great show , very nice venue very clean easy parking lots to do and see before and after the show , seating was very comfortable with no blocked views , sound system was clear , great time for my entire family ,,,,, so good we went two days in a row
I go to every rodeo within a 2 hour drive and this one was by far the best I have been to. And the free consent after was amazing. I have wanted to see Trent Harmon since he was on American idol!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
The Ram Circuit Finals brings some of the best cowboys and cowgirls in the country east of the Mississippi. The level of livestock and rodeo stars is far above most local rodeos. The facility in Kissimmee is great although the auxiliary market and vendors is not as extensive as some major western rodeos.
First rodeo to attend it was awesome I'll be back next year
The venue was great, the seats wonderful and all was good. The sound system was so loud you could not really hear what was being said, especially over the music. I had too plug my ears. Other than that I can't wait for another Rodeo!!
Was excited to attend my first rodeo at the RAM National Circuit Finals at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee. Had some friends in town from England, so we all went. Not expensive tickets, plus the kids were free, so a reasonable afternoon out. Got there and there were fairground attractions outside for the kids, BBQ and market type stalls. Once we were in our seats I was surprised that the event wasn't a sell-out, but then perhaps it's not as popular down here as it is in other states? I'd seleted our seats based on the fact that the release pens were directly below us and I thought it would give the kids a good view but the opposite was actually true and the commentator's 'stand' was directly beside us which was a huge, black, railed off type of scaffold area and meant that anything happening at the other end of the arena we were unable to see! That said, quite a lot of action happened where we could see it, so didn't hurt too much. The kids didn't like the events with the steers, the roping and tying, but they loved the barrel races, the bucking broncos and the bull riding, so all in all an enjoyable day was had by all. There were food stands inside, but frankly the food is average stadium type stuff (of course) so I wish we'd eaten outside at the BBQ stands. Plus the fairground rides had packed up when we came out and the kids were disappointed.
MAJOR, MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS EVENT AND OTHER RODEOS AT THIS VENUE! BIGGER AND BADDER BULLS AND BAREBACK RIDING! ALSO ENJOYED THE WOMEN'S BARREL RACING COMPETITION. I HAVE PLANS TO ATTEND NEXT YEAR!
This was our first Rodeo. We had friends visiting from overseas and we wanted to go to a event not related to amusement parks. We selected the Rodeo and were not disappointed. The admission included all the outside activities before and after the rodeo such as riding mechanical bull, zip line, bouncing games, entertainment and autographs and photos with the rodeo cowboys and cowgirls. One of the 7 year old kids said she enjoyed the rodeo more than The Magic Kingdom. There were no vendors trying to sell ideas during the rodeo and the kids admission was free. All in all this was a fun day for all.
The action was fast and furious, the announcers do a great job with this series. Between the announcers and the Clown they keep you in stitches waiting on the next performance
Inexpensive ticket compared to our ultra-lux priced theme parks! They don't kill you with souviners every 6 feet eihter, it's a comfortable arena, and there's an event for everyone in the family! I bring the whole gang, children to Grandparents, and everyone has a good time, without breaking the bank. Go! Enjoy!
It was my first time at the Silver Spurs Arena, and it was a positive one. I sat in the Silver Buckle section and had a fantastic view of the whole thing. I would go again.
This was a whole lot better than we thought it would be. it started on time and moved right along no long weights between things just one after the other.you could pick your seats where ever so it was wonderful could not understand why it wasn't many people their they missed out on a wonderful show for the money. please make arrangements to go next year you will not be sorry. go early so you can enjoy the outside things as we didn't and were sorry keep up good work as you did a wonderful show
The arena seating was great! No matter where you sit you have a good view. The cost of food and beverage was better than other hosted events I have attended. The show itself was well put togerther with fireworks, comedy, and other misc. things. The outside music, games, and booths where great. Definitely recommended going to this event. I will be attending more of these in the future.
Had a great time at the Rodeo. Took Students from Denmarck and Slovakia. The Rodeo was a great place for them to experience an All American Event. My family loves Rodeo.
Our family attended the Silver Spurs Arena, 2016 RAM National Rodeo, Kissimmee, FL First: The pricing was phenomenal: $15 adults, kids under 12 free; Parking was also free. We could not have gone to McDonald's and used the play area for that small fee. Second: Facility was neat and clean, well lit and easily accessible from the highway. Felt completely safe. Third: There was a "free" kids play area with several inflatable yard toys ex. Big bouncer. Fourth: The events were wonderful from the roping to the bull riding. Lastly and most importantly: The pre-show program was exhilarating. All Branches of the United States Military were honored, with the culmination being the swearing in of 55 new members into the Marines. I cried.
We truly enjoyed our time at the rodeo. The facility is so easy to get to and to navigate within once there. Ladies - there are plenty of bathroom stalls - LOL! Everything is up close and personal and that's really nice. Loved it - hope to do it again!
